Chapter 43

"What's wrong, babe?" Jordan asks. He must notice how tense and paranoid I am. I've been trying so hard to hide everything that's going on, how is he noticing?

"Just a little dehydrated. I didn't get any water before we left." I lie.

"Okay.." He says, his voice sounding unsure.

We finish lunch and we head out to the CubeSMP panel, which goes super well, and then we all head back to the house.

"I'm not gonna talk to Straub." I tell Echo, folding up the clothes Jordan left on the floor. Echo and Poke are sitting on mine and Jordan's bed because we planned on filming a video.

"Talk to Straub about what?" Poke asks, looking up from his phone.

"Nothing." Echo says, and Poke says okay.

"Oasis, if you don't talk to him, I will. And I'll also talk to Dawson, and I'll also talk to Jordan." Echo says, and I turn around as an immediate action.

"No, you won't." I retort.

Poke shuffles around on the bed as Sean walks in, "Wait.. you know what Dawson said?"

Echo and I look at Poke with confused faces, "What do you mean?" Echo asks,

"I mean, Dawson told Joe and I that he only came here to break you and Jordan up. He said Jordan owed him something." Poke explains.

I shake my head, "Owes him what?"

Poke shrugs and Echo speaks up, "Poke don't tell anyone about this." He says, getting up and he leaves the room.

I let out a deep breath in which Poke and Sean engulf me in a hug.

That night we spend around the fire yet again, and I can't help but feel on edge while sitting on Jordan's lap, a piercing stare coming from Dawson's direction.

"I love you." I subtly say to Jordan, and he replies with a kiss.

Hours pass and I head inside with everyone while Jordan, Dawson and Gingy are left outside taming the fire. I try my best to hear what's going on outside but with everyone talking it's hard to understand. Gingy walks in the door and the muffles her louder as the room becomes more silent.

"Give me a fucking break, Dawson." Jordan says, and the sliding door opening is the signal for us to all start talking again.
