["D/A" narrates —A.A.]
"And yet this is only half of the experience," Jay said. El's eyes through the cap became normal, though the expression on her face hadn't changed, much. It was still daunting. "Little growth-input will come to you if you are not open and allowing the emotional-body to perform its role of moving the energies-in-motion (which play upon you and your world) through the Heart Center, and on into Third Eye, inspiring the growth of perception. In truth, inspiring your whole mind! As well, you might note, nothing at all of an advanced nature would appear before you if you had not the desire for life and love. Remember, the dream-state is as real as the waking-state. Remember also, that during Dreams MUCH input comes to you that is beyond your conscious retention—and not always input of an advanced or a good nature. And keep in mind, my love, as resonant experiences WILL soon begin to further unfold through your life, that all that input from Dreamtimes will begin to come clearer—in time. Of course, this is not new to you. No, for the most part, this is old news. But—" a silent moment "—do you know why I have come to you tonight?
"Multi-purposes, probably," I replied, "And it seems that every time you do come, it has to do with preparing me for the near-future. But the recent-past still has me pretty frazzled, Master J'. I know you know." I turned round, looked up at him standing there, his arms folded, his face  serious. Too serious. So I got serious, too. "Jay, I think my NOT SO 'little experience' tonight probably has me fragmented at some level, many searing pieces that still need to be put back together. I know you can't interfere—much. I know I need to do the work myself. But you DO seem to have your own weird way of reshaping my past-lessons and slipping in a bit of new stuff. And The Wheel tells me . . . well, there ARE other levels. And I'm starting to think that you're polishing me or sanding the rough-edges on one level and defragging me on others —defragging maybe some of the stuff going on in my subconscious mind. And the crystal ball within Toadstool's cap? I think so, this is one of your tools?"
"'I think so.' Do you know Wyl says that a lot?" He stood there unmoved, statuesque.
"He would make a reeeeeeal good toe . . . tem . . . pole." Grandmother stepped into view from behind me, grinned, then morphed herself into Lady El. And she wasn't wearing black. And she carried no broom that I could see.
"That wasn't you, was it?" El knew what I was talking about.
"No," she hesitated, "that was you."
            "It was?"
"Later," she said, "Jay is waiting. His question?"
"Oh, yes. No, I didn't know Wyl said that a lot. I've never even heard him speak." I looked at Master J' long and hard, then finished my reply to his other question. "As well, your being here probably has something to do with Love, Wisdom and Power," I said, recalling the theme that had started this night's Dreamtime lesson.
"Yes, Love, Wisdom and Power," he said, smiling again, "and how they relate to Truth and to the Us-entity and to our telepathic alliance. And we are also here to help you to teach yourself and others."
How they all relate? How wonderful! "Teach Aces?"
"Yes, Aces, for one, for starters. May I now continue?"
"Of course!" I said, excitement brewing. This was new news!
"Now, don't jump the gun on me. Patience," he countered, his finger twirling. "Toadstool?" I turned back round to Toadstool. I could see El to the side. She winked at me. Jay continued, primarily with his defragging me, I think so.
