The Masters each took a hand. We lifted up through the ceiling and out of the building, moving very fast. Up, up and up, I had an eagle's eye-view of the Earth below as we headed for what I believed to be Valley Forest.

But we came upon a small settlement. Hovered—(take note), Lady El telepathized—then we began our descent. On mainly barren streets, a few automobiles, like ants with bright-eyes brightening, inched their way along. Streetlamps in a row, along a two-lane corridor, swiftly took up size as we picked up speed. A four- or five-storied building, mostly window-draped grey, with a red flashing light atop a mast atop the roof, appeared to be our destination. Below (in back and kiddie-corner to the building), a small wooded area showed three people dressed in winter garb . . . sitting at a picnic table. One of them, clothed in red, looked up directly at us, but soon became lost in passing trees. Master J' yanked my hand, turning me forward, just as we landed lightly in thin air, in a room where below lay my Wyllen, in a hospital bed, curled up and sleeping in the same position I had seen him in too many times before.

Master J' spoke twofold, same as always mostly—his lips not moving, normal voice, telepathy on the side. No surprise. "Always the teacher," El said, then she remained silent. (Or not.)

"Alaya . . ." Jay said, his tone stiff and unlike him, "much on our mission has progressed well. So well, in fact, that within particular areas of our journey—Andrea's, yours, Lady El's, and my own—things have changed (it has happened before), and so now a work of an altered nature has been added. Wyllen too has progressed well. But, as you can see, his circumstances are rather unique. More of a similar work (not the same but of The One and same nature) has been added unto him as well. And this will come up first, for it IS become necessary that he return to a whereabouts—to a Deep Memory, if you will—to reclaim wayward portions of himself. Alaya . . ." he eased up, "you should from past-experience recognize enough within HIS particular realm to be able to help him, as best you can. But be very careful. He must then return here to reclaim all of his memories, and other gifts, which lay buried within his slumbering body. These we were to return to him at a later moment in time; but as I have already said, things have changed. Much has changed. For the good. So much so, that the lower-Astral plane will no longer be as great a threat to you—for in your each own way, by degree, both of you have overcome its menace on your own. But do not take these words lightly, for the lower-Astrals WILL still appear before you . . . to test you," he added soberly. He was speaking also to Wyllen, I think so. He then clarified:

"The Realm of Etherea has already been impregnated with your and others accomplishments—your, in this context, meaning both you and Wyl—and so your tasks have grown fewer. Still, each task will appear larger before you, and to an unknown degree more obscure. Consider these tasks the testing portion. Yes . . . and so, just like you, he will need all his gifts and memories in order for he and you to succeed, and so he must return here. And for both of you, the timeline in Valley Forest is to be the same. A three day period, as of today. But your time-zones (El, have we not a better word than time-zone? Time-anomaly?) are not the same—" he sized me up "—for reasons similar to why he and you are not the same; those reasons being, as you well know, the new ground which will be gained when you are united. Now, different timelines aside, love, you'd best rendezvous with him as often as you can, as often as The One and same Flow between you deems necessary. Get me?"
