Napamaang lang ako nung narinig kong sinabi niya 'yun.
I am NOT his darling!!! I've never been his darling!
I swallowed. Narinig ko yung iba kong classmates na nag "uyyyy!" yung iba naman nagtawanan at ang iba ay nagbulungan.
Tiningnan ko si Drew. Nakatingin din siya sa akin at naka kunot noo, and there's confusion in his eyes.
Tumayo ako. "Classmates, calm down. Okay? It's just an endearment for Pete's sake at isa pa, me and Mark were friends then." sabi ko sabay upo.
Damn, ang lakas ng tibok ng puso ko. Bakit ba kasi niya sinabi 'yun?!
Napa "ahhh!" naman sila.
Mark chuckled. "Were Bells?" he told me.
I looked at him. "What?"
"You said that we were friends then,"
"Totoo naman, di ba? We were friends. Nawala yung communication natin sa isa't isa. Kaya di na tayo friends," medyo mataray na sagot ko sa kanya.
He just nodded at me and smiled.
"Okay, Mr. Reyes. You can take your sit na," sabi naman ni Ms. Layante.
Malas naman dahil katabi ko yung vacant chair so magkatabi kami.
"Okay class, copy what's on the board. I'll just get something in the faculty room." sabi ni Ma'am at lumabas na.
Kinuha ko naman yung notebook ko at nagsulat na.
"Bells," narinig kong tawag ni Mark sa akin.
"What do you want?" matabang naman na sabi ko sa kanya at hindi ko siya tingnan.
"Are you mad at me? Kasi tinawag kita na 'darling'? I'm sorry." sabi naman niya.
"To be honest, you didn't need to say that. Because I'm not your darling. At hindi mo ako naging darling." I said to him.
Napakamot siya ng batok. "Look--"
I glared at him. "Just shut up your mouth,"
He stared at me for sometime. "You're not the same Bella that I've known years ago."
"People change," I simply said to him.
I stood up at kinausap ko yung classmate ko na katabi ni Duhhrey kung pwede kaming mag switch ng pwesto. Pumayag naman siya.
"What was that?" I heard Drew's voice.
"What?" sabi ko naman.
"He called you darling. Is he your darling?" there's a jealousy in his voice.
I chuckled. "You're jealous?"
"Why did that dude called you darling? Kaano-ano mo ba yun? Bakit kilala niya kayo?"
"Narinig mo naman siguro yung sinabi niya noon na dito siya nag aral di ba?" sabi ko at nagsimula ulit kumopya.
"Naging ex boyfriend mo ba siya?" sabi niya sa akin na parang may something sa tono niya.
Nagseselos nga ang mokong.
"Hindi!" sabi ko naman.
He was not convinced. Ugh.
It's all your fault, Mark!!

Sorry for the late update guys! Nagkataon lang talaga na naging busy ako these past few weeks dahil sa super duper gatambak na examinations na ginawa namin sa school.Haha! Alam na! Graduating eh! I already have my draft for the next chapter, but I decided to post it next time. Hope you'll like this even though that it was only a short update.
