A Shadow's Diamond

Chapter 8 and Note

Sonic picks up a chaos emerald and looks over at Shadow. He frowns as he remembers their conversation, but he is willing to let Shadow do what he needs to do in order for him to figure out more about his past. Sonic walks over to Shadow with the chaos emerald, "I got the chaos emerald."

Shadow looks out at the view before him. He feels as though him and Diamond has more of a connection than he thinks. His train of thoughts was soon stopped as he looks over to see Sonic not smiling and staring at him. He says while being a bit annoyed, "What?"

Sonic holds up the chaos emerald, "I got the chaos emerald, let's get going. I want to see if Diamond wants to hang out later."

Shadow takes the chaos emerald and grabs a hold of Sonic's wrist. He holds up the chaos emerald, "Chaos control." Both hedgehogs were immediately teleported back into Tails' living room where Silver, Ray, Amy, and Tails are chatting.

Sonic looks around and asks, "Where's Diamond?"

Ray says while looking at her fingers, "Went to go pick up some kids, but she will be back."

Sonic grabs the chaos emerald from Shadow and hands it over to Tails, "Here ya go, buddy."

Tails grabs the chaos emerald and gets up from his seat. He walks over to a case that has 3 other chaos emeralds in it and places it in there. He turns around and smiles, "We only have to get 3 more!"

"Why are you guys collecting the chaos emeralds?" Ray asks as she no longer looks at her fingers.

Amy speaks up first, "We have to get the chaos emeralds before Eggman and Scourge does."

"Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but I have called the police on Scourge and he should be in jail or prison. 1 of those 2." Ray states.

Everyone looks at Ray with shocked expressions.

Ray stares at everyone, "Why are you guys staring at me like that? I was doing a service for my friend so that she doesn't have to deal with that green bean."

"We don't normally put Scourge or Eggman into jail or prison." Tails said while being completely shocked.

Ray shrugs, "Oh well."

Olympia opens up the front door and walks inside with a smile on her face, "Guess who is back?!"

Sonic smiles wide and turns towards the door. He waits for Diamond to enter through the door.

Snow and Petal walk through the door first as Diamond walks in last.

Snow holds her nose, "This is claustrophobic in here, I am going outside." She walks around Diamond and heads outside.

Petal stares at Shadow with awe as she walks up to him.

Shadow looks down to see Petal staring back at him. He asks, "What do you want?"

Petal grabs a hold of Shadow's hand and happily twirls around him. She makes Shadow twirl with her as she happily smiles and laughs.

Diamond smiles at the sight before her as she walks up to Petal and puts a hand onto her shoulder thus causing the young kitten to stop and look up at her, "Alright, Petal. Why don't you go outside and spend some time with your sister."

Petal wines a bit as she lets go of Shadow's hand and immediately rushes outside.

Diamond looks at Shadow while smiling, "Kids these days!"

Shadow looks at Diamond while feeling warm in the inside until he turns away. He needs to control himself better.

Hello everyone, I am letting you all know that Team Hell is finished and you guys may go read that. This story has about 12 more chapters until this is over. I will be honest that I am switching about who Shadow, Silver, and Sonic ends up with. There will be a new story coming out once this one is over. New characters that are especially designed by yours truly and a female team will be revealed through the next book. There will be a book about my ocs that I come up with and old ocs that I can remember about.

At the same time, I have been struggling with internet connection as well since the room that I normally hide out in as very shitty connection.

Enjoy this chapter and the next future chapters. Keep an eye out for the oc book for which it will have my ocs in it.
