A Shadow's Diamond

Chapter 12

Shadow and Blade reach the entrance of a festival. Shadow looks around to see the different kinds of food that he never got to see before on Mobias. How can such cultures exist without anyone knowing about this? Shadow rides his motorcycle slowly while following Blade.

A purple male older dog walks up to Blade and asks, "Ciao signora, lei e il suo amico siete qui per la gara?" (Hello madam, are you and your friend here for the race?)

"Not the man behind me, where do you want him to park his motorcycle?" Blade asks.

The man points at a market store, "Dietro l'edificio laggiù, abbiamo messo tutti i veicoli lì." (Behind the building over there, we put all vehicles there.)

"Thank you, sir." Blade looks over at Shadow. She says, "Park your vehicle behind that market shop. Once you do that, go on ahead and explore this place."

Shadow nods and slowly drives over to the market store. He tries not to hit anyone along the way as everyone is looking at him while speaking their native language. He gets behind the building to see some people smoking and talking. He parks his motorcycle in an empty parking spot and turns it off. He gets off his motorcycle and looks at the faintly lit festival. This will most certainly be an interesting night.

Shadow walks back into the festival to see a lot of people handing out food, accessories, and other kinds of stuff for free. He walks up to a stand to see the different kinds of food that he has never tried yet, his stomach begins to growl. He has forgotten to eat today since he was dealing with Diamond and everyone else. He looks at the woman before him. He can see that she is a kitsune who is baking some treats. He clears his throat, "Excuse me, Ms."

The woman turns to look at Shadow, "こんにちは、私はあなたのために何ができますか?" (Hello sir, what can I do for you?)

Shadow tries to process in what the woman has said, but he is going to guess that she is asking what she can get for him. He points to the food, "Is this free?"

The woman nods and says with a happy tone, "このフェスティバルのすべては無料です" (Everything at this festival is free)

Shadow begins to pick up some grilled food and eats them a bit hungrily. The taste is savoring as it tastes like seasoned cod. He remembers eating fish on the Ark, but not like this. He gives his thanks to the woman before turning away. He looks around as he begins to walk through the festival. Everyone is so nice to each other and not complaining about anything. Some marketers would trade their food or stuff for the other.

Shadow smiles to himself as he turns to see a family of 10 eating to their hearts content. He realizes that Diamond has a family already, but he doesn't. He loses his smile as he looks away. How such can such a gem be taken from him. He shakes his head and thinks to himself that he can always try to find someone. Blade has told him along the way here that he can try to find a woman for himself without another woman helping him. He looks around to see if there is any woman who is single and can try for. He soon spots an Iberian wolf girl and walks over to her after throwing away the trash that he has.

The woman has red-brown fur while grey curly long hair that goes off to the right side. She wears a red short sleeved semi ruffle shirt that goes off the shoulders, black skintight leather pants that doesn't go up to her breast, but it does have the shirt underneath. To finish off the outfit, she wears black heels. She looks stunning with her jade green eyes. Her bottom lip has red lipstick

Shadow approaches the woman and stands next to her as he looks down at the accessories. They are most certainly interesting to gaze at.

An older cat woman with aging hair looks at Shadow, "Hola señor, ¿cómo puedo ayudarle?" (Hello sir, how may I help you?)

Shadow looks to his right in which the woman is still there. He looks down at her tail to see that it's also red brown. His eyes go onto her breast to see that they are a bit bigger than Rouge's and that is hard enough to achieve.

The old woman notices Shadow staring at the younger woman next to him. She speaks to the young woman, "Este caballero te está mirando, señorita." (This gentlemen is staring at you, Miss.)

The woman picks up her head and looks over at Shadow. She notices him looking away as she smirks. She looks back at the older woman and speaks with a thick Spanish accent, "Gracias señora." (Thank you Mrs.) She puts a hand onto Shadow's shoulder and whispers into his ear while getting close, "You are playing a dangerous game here, señor." (Sir.)

Shadow stares at the woman next to him, "And you aren't?"

The woman chuckles as she gets off Shadow, "Adios~!" (Bye~!) She sways her hips from side to side.

Shadow watches the woman swaying her hips.

The older woman speaks, "Señor, if I were you, I would go after her."

Shadow turns and starts following the woman. He hears other males talking about the wolf woman as she walks by everyone. He soon speeds up as he notices that she has taken a left to go inside of a building. He also takes a left and enters the building.

Shadow sees that there are a lot of people inside of the building getting lap dances by girls of different cultures. He spots the woman on the other side of the room as he begins to follow her again. He crossed the room and turns to see her going up some stairs which he begins to go up. He doesn't know why he is doing this, but he feels his heart trying to say to keep following this woman. He reaches the final step and sees the woman staring at him with a smile. 

"Un perro perdido me ha seguido. Qué glorioso." (A lost dog has followed me. How glorious.) The woman smiles at Shadow before she gets onto the edge of the building.

Shadow runs up to her and grabs a hold of her wrist. He pulls her off the edge and into his arms.

The woman smiles a bit more as her tail flicks against Shadow's leg, "Oh my, señor. You certainly do have a way with women."

"What is your name?"

"Introductions already? Without a dance? Alright, mi llamo Natalia." (I am Natalia.) Natalia says a bit seductively.

Shadow lets go of Natalia, "Shadow the hedgehog."

"I am aware of who you are, Shadow." Natalia speaks while walking back over to the edge. She slips something into Shadow's hand. She turns to wink at him before reaching the edge. She says, "I am afraid this is where we have to part, Shadow. It has been nice meeting you, but sadly this is where we have to part." She jumps off the building.

Shadow runs over to the edge and sees her landing in a haystack. He jumps off the building and lands onto his feet. He begins to dig into the haystack, looking for Natalia, with little to no luck. He stops before he looks over the haystack to see her walking away. He soon runs after her. Picking up speed in trying to find her. He was soon stopped by a hand grabbing him and pulling against a woman who looks like Natalia.

"My, my, ¿No puede tener suficiente de mí, señor?" (can't have enough of me, sir?) Natalia is smirking at him.

Shadow looks down at her, "May we spend the rest of this evening with each other? To get to know each other?"

Natalia thinks for a moment before looking back at Shadow. She smirks a bit bigger as she takes a hold of Shadow's hand, "We may, but only on 1 condition."

"That is?" Shadow raises an eyebrow.

"¡Bailamos!" (We dance!)
