Chapter-29: Is that a yes?

She was staring at him intently and he was worried now. This was the first time, he wasn't able to read her eyes. Panic struck his spine.

He wasn't ready about the rejection part, but he wouldn't chase her to love like an obsessed psycho lover!

He wasn't ready for Sunny's joke to become his ultimate truth.

"Oh my! It is drizzling. We have to leave soon...." She stood up hurriedly.

Yes.... The once bright sky has now started to be enveloped with the dark grey clouds signalling about the forthcoming rains.

He was now worried about his internal storm, the physical rains were long forgotten

"Sai...." He held her close. They could hear eachother's erratic heart beat. Sai saw the panic mixed with love in his hazel hued eyes. Eyes those speak volumes for his simple words.

Those damned hazels which always spoke love for her!

"Is that a yes?", He asked softly. She looked everywhere except him and he felt like his heart could break any instant. His legs started giving to the fear as a lone tear dripped down his cheeks. She felt him loosening his hold on her as he breathed heavily

"Sai....?" He called again softly tucking a wild tendril behind her ears as he looked at her glassy eyes.

"Is that a yes?" He asked again softly leaning his forehead against her. To his utmost surprise, she leapt forward and hugged him tight knocking him out of the balance. He fell right on his back on the grassland with her on top of him. He couldn't comprehend what was happening as panic strick his body.

"Sai?" He called her slightly shaking her shoulders making sure she isn't unconscious or anything. But her next move threw him out of the cliff.

To his utmost surprise, she placed her soft lips on his cheeks, kissing him tightly. Virat could feel himself get dizzy as he held her tight against his chest ruffling her hair as he controlled his sobs. The dark rainy clouds continued to drizzle showering it's love on the two young soul who found solace in eachother. He held her tight trying to fight the tears rolling down his cheeks

"Sai....?" He called her again cupping her cheeks.

"Is that a yes?" He asked smiling softly. SHe smiled as she pressed another kiss on his cheeks nuzzling his nose. He laughed aloud finally feeling the relief of his love being reciprocated. She smiled looking at his maniac laughter and the way he fumbled with his words in excitement. He stopped laughing when he felt himself getting breathless and choked. He laid on the grassbed entirely and she stretched fully on him as he held her palms drawing faint doodles

"Do you still want your answer?" She asked resting her ears on his chest hearing his erratic heart beat. He smiled and nodded his head eagerly.

"Yes...." He replied breathlessly. She shook her head hiding her face against his chest.

She was shy to say I love you.... But not kiss!

Not complaining though...

"Please Sai....." He pleaded again. He yearned to hear the magical words from her. That would probably be the biggest gift of his life.

"No! Not now...." She replied resting her head. After long moments of silence in solace he shook her shoulders.

"Any idea on waking up from me?" He joked.

"Should I?" He heard a faint murmur and felt his heart brimming with love. He could spend his life like this. In her arms and in a place like this where no one disturbs them.

"I don't mind..... But this grass is poking me. And I don't want anyone else to catch us in this position..... Imagine the news... ACP caught in PDA" he joked. She smiled and woke up from him. Extending her hand, she helped him stand up. They both stood silently basking in the new found love and relationship. The loud thunder reminded them of the impending shower and that broke their reverie. She looked at the beautiful sunshine being hidden behind the dark clouds

"Okay....now it started raining! I don't wanna get wet..... Chalte hein" she said with a faint hue of blush. She loved rains, but she was utterly disappointed this time because they ruined the perfect moment which would be impossible to get back

He smiled and pulled her with a jerk so that she lands on his chest. Her amber eyes widened with surprise while his glowed with mischief and desire. She blushed a bit when she read the desire and love in his eyes. He held her flush against his body, the rain drenching them. He smiled and leaned his forehead against hers and tucked the tendril behind her ears. She gasped when she felt his warm breath against her lips. Completely driven by desire and love, he whispered,

"You are so beautiful......."

"So so beautiful." He said breathlessly. He smiled and kissed the droplets around her lips, nuzzling her cheeks gently. She gripped his shirt tight trying to process the newfound feelings and desires. She smiled when she felt him smile against her cheeks.

He bunched her hair to a side and buries his face in the crook of her neck driven by love and desire. He kissed the tiny droplets that were cascading down her neck from the hair.

"Virat sir...." She gasped softly.

He pulls away from the her neck and looks at her as she clung on to him with a deep red hue adorning her cheeks.

"Sai....?" He whispered her name softly. She hummed.

"Open your eyes...."

"No......." She replied shyly.

"Open your eyes for me.... Please" he almost begged her. She opened her eyes and looked at him with all the love in his eyes.

"Can I?" He asked the permission. She nodded shyly.

He smiled as he pressed his lips against her innocent ones. His heart fluttered with love when he felt her trying to kiss him with same Passion. Bending gently, he continued kissing her softly as his fingers drew random patterns on her cheeks. He looked at her long eyelashes and those beautiful eyes looking at him with all the love in the world. They both parted from kiss shyly and blushed.

"Have you ever kissed someone?" She questioned curiously in order to avoid awkwardness, not realising she made it even more awkward.

"No. Am an amateur like you...." He replied honestly.

"You call me an amateur! I kissed Amazingly...." She said proudly. He had her waist and pulled her closer yet again.

"Let me be the judge of that" he said before capturing her lips yet again.
