CHAPTER 14 I OBJECT PART 2

Daniel POV

As everyone was whispering about everything that had just been revealed, the first empress decided to grace us with her voice, "As the first empress I say that Tina Gemson is a far better candidate for empress than this boy." She points to me as she spoke the last part, "Watch your words carefully Alice, you are already on thin ice with me after the little discovery of your past actions." Darren growled out, everyone was then remembering that the first empress knew about the guards abusing the clan leaders.

"I mean no disrespect your majesty, I'm simply stating that miss Tina has more to offer the Stoneright family than Daniel does." She states, and in all honesty she's right, my sister has loads of connections with lots of very important people of the dragon community, some of the more prominent clans included.

"Having connections is not the only way to determine if one is fit for the title of empress, they must have elegance, understanding and compassion and as someone who has been raising seven children by himself I say that Daniel is more than qualified." Tyron announces, "Seven children? My he sure does get around doesn't he?" Alice says and pretty soon everyone is whispering and looking at me in disgust, so I chime in to defend myself.

"Five of the children I raise are my deceased brothers children and the other two are my younger brothers, who I have raised since they were babies because my parents couldn't be bothered to raise their own children, not to mention the fact that those same parents threw out two twelve year old little boys because they awakened as omegas, which in all honesty I would have preferred they did to me when I awakened as an omega because once I awakened my life became a living hell,

I was beaten and abused by my own family for close to eight years, and not to mention that my own parents organized for me to be sexually assaulted by the man who was their oldest son's ex best friend, the same ex best friend who had been having an affair with their eldest sons wife who had abandoned her husband and children for the man she was having an affair with.

And to top it off they decided to support them both even though they aren't their family, so that should really tell you about my so called parents.

And even though I may be pregnant with my rapists child I will make damn sure that this child will never become like it's other parent," I panted, and it was then that I realized I had said too much, and now everyone was looking at me in different levels of shock, even Darren was speechless and I blushed until suddenly Darren spoke,

"Not only is he willing to take on the parenting role for his younger siblings but his nieces and nephews, and to top it off he is willing to raise children that was conceived unwillingly, if this does not display the traits of a true empress then I don't know what does.

So my decision is final, Daniel Gemson shall be crowned as the fourth and final empress, and the clan leaders of Ardor, Frost Vallen, Falen, Asear, Inter shall be named as his household members and shall live with him in the fourth empresses palace, and with this announcement I bring this event to a close."

As soon as Darren finished speaking everyone began applauding for me, saying long live the fourth empress, I looked around but my family, along with Jason and Vicky had slipped away apparently, but I had a feeling that now that they knew I was pregnant things were going to become a lot more complicated.
