CHAPTER 33 FIGHT AGAINST THE ROYAL FAMILY PART 2

Daniel pov:  It's been a day since I had to attack Tyron, I'm currently in one of my guest rooms and I'm switching the wet towel on his forehead with a clean one,

Then just as I'm about to leave, I hear a groaning sound, I look and see Tyron opening his eyes and blinking because of the light, I quickly go to close the curtains, he then sits up slowly, "Tyron, is that you?" I ask cautiously, I know I broke the spell but that doesn't mean it can't be reactivated, he looks at me confused, "What Am I doing here? The last thing I remember was......" He trailed off but was looking down eyes moving rapidly, as he was trying to remember everything,

Just then his eyes widened and he looked at me in fear, then he tried to get up but I sat him back down, "Daniel we have to go, we need to warn everyone! No one is safe, it's Darren and his brothers, their father!" He tried to stress urgently, "Calm down, I already know, I know about Darren and his brothers being the sons of Loden," I soothed, he pants heavily,

"You don't understand, it's the rest of the council! They're all under their control, they took our councilor crest's," he said with great urgency, you see each council member has what is called a councilor crest, it's a crest that is a combination of the dragon council crest and their own individual family crests combined. "But why would they want those?" I ask in confusion,

"It's their father, the prison he was sent to can only be opened during an eclipse, and only with the council crest's." He said "So they want to use the crests to free their father Loden Stoneright, but even if they free him he's still technically a criminal, there's no way he'd be welcomed by any clan. Plus what Darren and his brothers have done is a serious crime, there's no way they'll get away with everything they've done." I said,

"Technically since Darren and his brothers are the emperors of the dragon race, taking control of the council wouldn't be considered a crime, they're the highest authority so they wouldn't get in trouble, secondly having the council free Loden isn't a crime either, the royal family has the right to make the council free anyone they want from the councils prison,

and the worst part is that they intend to give him a royal pardon, once that happens all of his misdeeds are abolished, and he'd be free, and with a royal pardon, he could commit all of his crimes all over again and he could never be put on trial for them, it's basically the dragon version of double jeopardy," He said,

And this conversation lets me know how bad it is, even if we tell people there really isn't anything they could do, Darren, Chase, and West will have every right to free their father, and once they pardon him he can do whatever he wants.

"We have to find some way to stop them!" I said with urgency, "Maybe if we free the other council members they could help us?" He said in questioning, "How long until this eclipse?" I ask, "Less than two weeks from now." Tyron said, we quickly get up and head downstairs,

just then I sense something, I turn around and am met with the eyes of Darren, he was above us up the stairs, tyron stopped and saw what I was looking at, he looked at him wide eyed, just then he begins descending the stairs we had just come down, "You know I gotta say you keep surprising me more and more, Daniel, breaking me brothers spell to such a degree that it rebounded and actually sent him flying,

That tells you right there just how powerful you are." He said as he got closer and closer to us, but I then trap him in a barrier, he touches it and the shock from the barrier causes him to flinch in pain, just as we're about to go down he said something that chilled me to the bone,

"Before you try and run off I would ask myself a very important question, where are my children?" He said, I look at him wide eyed, then run to my household members rooms, I ask each of them where the children are and they said they were in their rooms, we all searched for them but we couldn't find them, the eggs are still in the heating nest thankfully, but my other children are gone.

I dispell the barrier and run to him, but Tyron stops me and gets in front of me in a protective way, "Where are they?! Where are my children?!" I scream, Darren looks at me with sad eyes,

"You really should have warned the kids about me in advance, they let me in and trusted me wholeheartedly, made it really easy to put them under the sleep spell and take them, and since I know you won't do anything stupid since I have them, let's get a few things clear, one the kids will be returned only when the eclipse is over and only after you have sworn your allegiance to my father and the Stoneright family,"  I was just about to place the worst curse imaginable on him, but he saw my glowing hands,

"I can only imagine the curses you want to place on me but, do remember that I'm the only one who knows where your kids are, anything happens to me and you never see them again." He said which stopped me, "Please Darren don't do this, return the children, they're not a threat to you!" Tyron tried to reason,

"Like I said before the children will not be harmed, in two weeks when the eclipse starts and once it ends,  then you'll have the children back, and as long as you swear loyalty to my family, until then the children will be well looked after and protected you have my word." Darren said as created a portal and, when I tried to intercept it the portal closed and Darren disappeared, I feel to floor crying in pure agony, Tyron hugged me as I cried.

I now have no choice but to do as Darren wants, if only to save my children.
