CHAPTER 3 LOST BROTHER

TYLER POV

I hear footsteps and look and see my parents and sister Tina, and my ex wife and ex best friend, I look at them confused until it finally clicks, "This was a set up!" I growl, my father smirks at me, "You know son if only you hadn't been against Darren then this never would have had to happen, but don't worry we'll take good care of the kids for you and the little omegas as well, I think Jason here has a soft spot for your brother." He smiles evilly at me, the moment he dares to mention Daniel that's when I lose it.

In seconds I'm all the way over to Jason and my father with my hands inches away from their throats when suddenly I feel a presence behind me, someone grabs the back of my collar and throws me, I flip over and bring out my claws, then I grab the ground to help me stop, I see that Darren was the one who threw me, he's fast I need to be careful about how I deal with him, I look behind me and see a forest, if I can get there I can get out of this, I quickly turn to bolt to the forest, but as I'm about to run Darren is behind me grabbing my shoulder,

"I don't think so Tyler, I've been looking for you for a while now do you really think I'd let you get away so easily? In terms of speed we're evenly matched, none of the other clan leaders were as fast as me, it's probably why they were so easy to kill." He smiled coldly, that angered me to no end, I released a huge burst of lightning, I could tell he sped away from me and was back to where he was, but he didn't get away unscathed, his left arm was burned a little from my lightning, I knew I had no choice, so I decided to put an end to him here and now.

"If you think I'll be as easy prey as the others then you're sorely mistaken." I growled, then let my wings come out and envelop my body, then I started getting larger and my arms became massive with large talons my legs merged with my body and became a giant serpent like body my eyes became slanted and finally Requaz had taken over, we looked down at everyone then let out a gigantic screech,

"Very impressive, so your a serpent based dragon but with arms, my my that's not something you see every day." The dragon emperor looked up at me then smirked, then huge flames shot out to the sky and the flames became wider and wider until finally a dragon arm landed and soon the flames disappeared and there stood the emperor's dragon from, a hellfire dragon, one of the most powerful of fire dragon's.

As I stood ready for the fight, I took to the air first, hellfire dragon's are massive in size and power but slow in terms of speed so I should have the advantage in the air, he apparently knew what I was planning because not two seconds later he took to the air as well and rammed into me, he's trying to get me on the ground so he has the advantage,

I wrapped around him to squeeze the life from him, the heat he's giving off is unbelievable but I bear with it, as I release my lightning he counters with his hell flames, if that touches me it's game over, I dodged just in time then wrap around him again and bite into his neck, as a serpent based dragon I have a little bit of venom, not as much as a poison dragon but enough to do some damage.

He shakes me off then claws at my stomach, I claw at his, then he releases his hell flames again, I didn't have time to dodge, I take the brunt of it and the pain is excruciating, Requaz hisses and screeches until we're forced into our human form, as I try to get up, the pain from the flames becomes so much I'm naked and on my knees and the second I look up I feel like someone knocked the window out of me, I see Darren Stoneright in front of me naked and in human form as well,  and I see his arm extended and follow it, and to my surprise it's lodged into my chest.

"With your death comes the end of those who have challenged me and the start of my new reign." As he finished his sentence, he removed his clawed hand from my chest, and soon my body became heavy and I fell to the forest floor, just before I died I uttered one last sentence, "Daniel forgive me." Then I drew my last breath.

As I opened my eyes again I saw I was in a field, I felt something behind me and looked, it was a dragon, but not just any dragon it was Requaz.

I knew then that this was the astral dragon plane, I cried thinking about my children who I'd left behind and my brothers, but unfortunately there was nothing I could do about it, all I could do was hope and pray everything was going to be ok.

DANIEL POV

As I wake up for the day I get everything ready for everyone, I shower and then go downstairs and prepare breakfast, and just when I finish setting the table do I hear seven sets of footsteps, I turn around and see everyone but Tyler is here, he probably went to work early, oh well nothing I can do about it now, I help the kids get their food and after everyone is done eating and washing their dishes, I take them to their school and as I'm walking back home I see Tyron standing outside waiting for someone by the looks of it,

"Hey tyron, why are you here? My appointment isn't for another two weeks." I chuckle as I come up to him,  he looks at me with a grim and sad face, I frown.

"What's wrong?" I asked very concerned, "It's about Tyler,"He says, I open the door as he spoke, "Tyler? Haven't seen him since last night when we came home from visiting you at the clinic, I'm actually starting to get a little worried." I said, then I head to the kitchen and grab something to drink, as I come out of the kitchen Tyron stands there refusing to look me in the eye.

"You're really starting to freak me out, what's wrong what is going on with Tyler?" I asked very concerned now, "It seems that Tyler's ex wife and ex best friend along with your family had tricked Tyler into coming to a secluded location and helped emperor Darren Stoneright in luring him out so they could fight, and when they fought, Tyler lost not only the battle but his life as well and as such the title of head of the Gemson clan has been returned to your father." As he spoke about what happened I crumbled to the floor and grabbed my chest, it felt like the wind had been knocked out of me.

My eyes became blurry with tears, Tyron got on the ground with me and let me cry into his chest, I cried for my lost brother and for the kids lost father, the dragon emperor was the one who did this, and I swore then and there that I would forever hate and despise Darren Stoneright and the entire Stoneright clan.
