Chapter 8: A Date?

Narrators pov:

"Ughhh.." Shadow groaned "ASGAHHSF" Sonic screamed.
Shadow quickly looked down to see a lake, "WERE DID YOU TELEPORT US-" Sonic said as they crashed into the water

'Oww,' Shadow thought, he looked to his side seeing Sonic passed out in the water. 'I gotta get out of here, this water is freezing.' Shadow thought.
Shadow quickly swam over to Sonic and pulled him out the rocks and got out the water. "Sonic?" Shadow asked ... "Sonic!" Shadow yelled

Shadow put his head to Sonic's stomach 'hes not breathing.. i could do cpr, i was taught in the ark..' Shadow thought.
He hurriedly put his hands on Sonic's chest and started pumping. After 10 pumps, Shadow checked Sonic's chest again 'hes still not breathing!' Shadow thought 'do i have to? I mean hes my rival its not like i like him or anything.'
Shadow sighed before taking a deep breath and laying on top of Sonic

Shadow pressed his lips on Sonic and started to push air into him

Sonic's eyes jolted open as he sat up and started coughing and gasping for air.

"WHAT THE *cough* HELL *cough* *cough* WAS THAT FOR?" Sonic yelled "Sorrry i didnt know were it was teleporting us" Shadow said rolling his eyes

"Whatever, where are we?" Sonic asked
"Somewhere near a garden..? Anyways, you should drain out your fur" Shadow answered "Yea i should" Sonic said shaking himself off like a dog "NOT LIKE THAT!" Shadow yelled

"Ow, ow, oww" "Suck it up, faker" Shadow said "you could atleast carry me!" Sonic yelled "No." Shadow said "Ill pay you" sonic said holding his side "How much?" Shadow asked "Ten rings," "Deal."
He quickly scooped Sonic up, and carried him in his arms.
They walked to Shadow's house "I need to come here to get a chaos emerald and heal you." Shadow said

"We're here." Shadow said yeeting Sonic onto the couch "OW! WHYD YOU DO THAT" Sonic yelled but Shadow ignored him

Shadows pov:

I picked up the chaos emerald and walked back to Sonic

I held his hand which made him jump a little

*About an hour later*

"Its been nearly an hour, you should be healed enough." I said letting go of his hand while getting up "Okay, where do you okay to go now?" Sonic asked "100% somewhere to eat, im starving" i answered "Do you have dye?" "Actually, i do" Sonic said pulling two cans out his quils, "im taking the pink, you get orange." Sonic added "Atleast i wont look like that pink rat." I said making him laugh

We put the dye on to disguise ourselves, mostly from media seeing our personal lives because I was trying to get away from AMY smashing me into bits, lets just say i had to get Sonic to bail me out. im so glad people forgot about it

"Lets go" Sonic said looking like a whole new person, well i could say that myself

We walked into Sonic's favorite restaurant, i think the name was Cat-elicious?

"How many?" The mobain asked "2" Sonic answered "Okay follow me" she said. She served us a seat fast, im pretty sure it was from the lack of customers, since there's still a snow storm

"Here" she said pointing to a booth, i sat across Sonic

"What drinks would you like?" Asked the waiter "Coffee beans-" "Water for him, and sprite for me!" Sonic said cutting me off, the waiter gave us a look that i couldn't read then left "Your actually gonna order something this time, you cant live off of beans" Sonic whispered "Whatever" i said rolling my eyes
