LATISHA VALENTINE

There are no points in my past life that I sympathize with Roshan. I always hate him for never giving me the attention I want. I never felt that I was his wife, because he never boasted about it to people. It has always been me who is active in this relationship. Despite the role that I will do later on, I tried my best to be a supportive wife. I protected his title from the people, always telling them that the ducal couple was intimate, when we never were.

I use my social circle at expanding our relationship and pleasing my father with that diversion. Yet, I wanted to take back what I said. Not because of what hit me after realizing that I scrutinized the Duke, but because the pain that crossed his eyes for a moment.

After saying that to him, he turned cold. His eyes went dead for a good reason and his aura became gray. His intense stares were electrifying my nerves, and the cold shoulder left me feeling guilty. I was then informed by the Butler that Roshan and the Commander of the order of knights left that night, and I didn't know where they went. It is Roshan's habit of disappearing for a short while until he comes back like nothing happened.

I know, I was over the line. I should have said something better than saying that.

It wasn't the truth that I am tired of him.

I am divorcing him for his sake, so that father will not use him. I shouldn't have said that, I should have aimed for a better alibi.

Hanggang nag-umaga ay hindi sila bumalik. I didn't get enough sleep because of waiting, and today is supposed to be the first day of the reconstruction and renovation of the Exhibit shop, but my mind was occupied.

"Hoy, magandang nilalang!"

My reflexes are very onpoint, and I never lost focus since.

"Alam mo, Tish. She sat on the free chair across mine, and roamed her eyes around the place. "Infairness, ang laki ng espasyo. Tingin mo, marami kaya ang pupunta sa opening day?"

"Depends on how well you are at advertising," sagot ko. I sip on the tea that Blessime's servants brought since her shop was just next door. "I am convinced that my title alone can turn people's heads in one direction."

She's always like that. Boy-hunting, no strings attached after feeding their libido. She always received a daily scolding back then for being so liberated.
