Note: Hi, pay attention to the revelation that is presented here. It is a factor that change the course of part 2 and how a supporting character took huge part of it. That supporting character has been introduced in the past chapters hahaha, pwede niyo hulaan pero 'wag kayo mag-overthink. May sinagasaan akong karakter dati, sa part 2 siya lumabas. LATISHA VALENTINE

If it weren't for Burton's presence, I would have killed my father. I aimed my sword at my own bloodline for a moment, then Burton wielded his sword to clash with mine. Dahil sa ginawa niya, nakapasok si Ama sa karwahe. Gusto ko siyang pigilan ng biglang tumakbo ang mga kabayo subalit nakaharang ang hinayupak na lalaking ito sa harapan ko.

"Why don't we finish what we started, Valentine?" he uttered as he spit blood when I hit him earlier. I blinked multiple times to re-focus, to not get swayed with how his blood drips from his lips.

"You are only useful to him because of me," I said. Bumakas ang galit sa kanyang mga mata subalit isinawalang bahala niya ito. Sabay na napapako ang aming tingin sa isang direksyon ng makarinig kami ng sigaw ng mga kabayo. The carriage stopped because the horses were killed.

It was an opportunity for me to glide my sword towards his back and he groaned in pain. Tinakbo ko agad ang pagitan ko sa karwahe at hindi ininda ang sugat ko sa binti. I opened the door and when I entered the carriage, a foot pushed me away and I landed a few meters away from it. Napasuka ako ng dugo dahil sa tama.

"Oh, my darling," Father said as he went outside the carriage, holding his sword and looking at me with disappointed eyes. He then unsheathed his sword and aimed it at me. "I don't want to end the life of my cherry pie, but I guess I must do it myself."

I reached for my sword to defend his attack, but before it landed on me, someone's sword clashed with his. Then a man wearing a navy blue cape entered my sight, with his sword that shines like diamonds reflecting with the sun's beam. Sa lakas at pwersa na binigay ni Roshan ay napaatras si Ama.

"Don't touch my wife," he uttered with a threat.

"Your wife?" Lord Fredrick said as if he was reluctant of what he just heard. Napako ang tingin ni Ama sa akin at bahagyang napatawa na parang na-eenganyo siya. "You love my daughter, your grace? Would you love a monster like her? She is not what you think she is."

"I know," Roshan said as he pointed the Reidensteigh sword at him. "You created a monster inside her, and raised that as your ultimate weapon. But, my wife is strong and brave, she will eventually overthrow that monster and be herself."

Napako ang aking tingin sa Duke dahil sa sinabi niya. Habang, hindi makapaniwala naman si Ama sa kanyang naririnig. Pinilit kong bumangon at tumayo malapit kay Roshan habang hindi nilulubayan ng tingin ang asawa ko. He was looking at my father but he knew I was near.

He circled his arm around my waist and that act was traced by my father's eyes. He laughed again, processing what he just saw. I looked at my father's eyes as he glared at me. "Did my daughter purposely go against me just because the Duke fancy her?"

"No, I go against you on my own accord," I said to him. I looked back at Roshan again. Hinawi ko ang kanyang braso na nakapulupot sa akin at bahagya siyang tinulak paatras. Then, I gaze back at my own father. "Let me handle him alone, your grace."

"You're wounded," he whispered.

"I know," I replied.

Roshan withdrew his sword and took a step back again. Ako na ngayon ang nakaharap sa aking ama, subalit biglang may nagsulpotan na mga taong nakaitim na damit at pinalibutan kami. My father smirked in triumph as if he would win by just surrounding us, but he was wrong.
