LATISHA VALENTINE

It would be too early to conclude that Roshan is acting strange. It is not in his nature to seek for my presence himself, because it has always been me who does that. Right now, I am conflicted as to why he was outside.

Habang karga ang natutulog na Annika sa aking bisig, nilandas ng aking mga paa ang daan palabas sa shop ni Blessime. Ginawaran niya lang ako ng makabuluhang tingin bago bumalik sa loob.

As much as I wanted to spill the tea of what is happening, I can't seem to taste the blend myself. I am not even sure of what to react now that I am approaching the carriage he was in.

Hana told me that Roshan wanted me to go home with him. I wasn't aware that he had already finished his hunting moments and decided to take a break. Saan naman kaya siya pumunta sa mga oras na 'to?

When I entered the carriage, he was sitting on the opposite side, with closed eyes. This is a family size carriage that could fit at least five people, but Roshan always uses it to travel back and forth from the Capital.

Hindi ko kasama si Annika ngayon dahil tingin ko ay mababahala lamang siya at wala kaming matinong pag-uusapan kung nakatingin siya sa maamong mukha ng kanyang anak.

As much as I want them to have a decent talk, pursuing the right time is necessary. Right now, Annika is exhausted from playing with Blessime, and Roshan has a very cold aura that can freeze his daughter's hope.

Hawak-hawak ko din ang kakakuha ko lang na papeles ng diborsyo sa munisipyo. I know the moment he will open his eyes, it will be the papers he will see first. Kaya nang dumilat siya ng mata, matagal niyang tinitigan ang hawak ko.

"Are you really that eager to divorce me?" he said using his baritone voice. That kind of sexy tune that I want to hear every single day. "Are you truly tired of being my wife and settling with my attitude...or is there a third party for this?"

Tila tinakasan ako ng dugo sa aking narinig. Nag-angat ako ng tingin para pantayan ang kanyang mapanghusgang mga mata. Gusto kong sampalin siya kung bakit iyon ang kanyang iniisip, subalit wala akong nagawa kundi huminahon.

"How about you, I can count that dead woman as a third party of our marriage." Hindi din naman ako magpapatalo. If he thinks I have someone else which made me want to divorce him, he also has to know that I am divorcing him because of his obsession with that dead woman.

"There are no conversations that you never failed to bring her up," he replied, slightly letting his annoyance hit me.

"It is a fact, your grace. But I am not like you," I quickly replied. "I don't have any more excuses than what I said to divorce you. If you can't accept that, then you are the problem."

"I will..." he took a glance at the one I was holding before he returned his gaze at me "...sign the papers."

Gusto kong magsaya dahil sa sinabi niya, subalit mas lumubog ang damdamin ko. Even if I present this matter first, I still have that hope that he would reject it.

I don't really want to leave, and if he will accept me as his wife despite what is about to happen, I will never leave. Yet, I am delusional for thinking that will be the case.
