Chapter-9: Meeting Fu Hua

I wake up and it seems to be sunrise, still feeling sleepy I stay in bed for another few minutes before I try to get up. When I felt that I couldn't delay anymore or I will fall back asleep, I tried to get up but stopped at the feeling of something heavy on me. [No. It is not her chest that feels heavy, she got used to that.] I look around me to see Kiana sleeping on my arm and that we slept hugging each other. In my past life I had a habit that i seem to keep in this life as well. When I was sleeping I usually had a hugging pillow by my side and when I stayed with Ms. and Mr.Winters, I had a plushie that I was hugging, so I thought it will be hard to have a good rest at night but Kiana unknowingly solved that problem. But.. (What in Kevin's name is she doing here? This is my room. Right?) I look around the room and yes it was my room, so I thought that I forgot to lock my room but then again. Why is she in my room?

I shake the thoughts off my mind and try to make her let go so I could go and start my morning warm up. After about 5-10 minutes I got out of bed and wonder how she didn't woke up after all that shaking but then again I did try to not wake her up and she grumbled something about Mei in her sleep, so she might have some great dream with Mei. I go to where my clothes are and was about to change but stopped and looked at Kiana still sleeping on my bed, now hugging my blanket. (She won't wake up while I change, right? I need to stop thinking like that.) Hoping she won't wake up, I change in my track suit and take a last look at the sleeping Kiana before leaving the room.

Going down stairs I enter the kitchen and put myself a cup of water and drink it, then take a bottle and began to fill it but I heard someone else coming downstairs as well. When I finish to fill the bottle the said person enters the kitchen, the moment I saw her I recognize her. Fu Hua sees me and stares at me surprised for a few seconds and then she speaks.

"Kiana? I didn't expect to she you up at this hour, you usually sleep until someone wakes you up or until lunch is ready. Did something happened?" she says and I think she noticed something since I didn't say a word. (Fu Hua. Otto's spy at the moment and one of Kiana's supports. No matter how much I want to pretend to be Kiana I can't since it will be troublesome later.)

"Uh.. Who are you?" I pretend not to know her since this is the first time we meet face to face.

"..Kiana is too early in the morning for your jokes." Fu Hua seems a little relieve since she thinks I am joking.

"I am not joking, I really don't know you." I take a step or at least try to but I take just half a step back since I am too close to the sink.

"Kiana?.. Kiana it's me Fu Hua. Did something really happen here while I was on my mission?" Fu Hua started to worry since even if she is Otto's spy, she still cared about the one's close to her.

"Oh! Fu Hua, the last person I needed to meet." I say making Fu Hua confused since she thinks I am Kiana. "Good morning, I am Diana Winters. We will be roommates from now on, hope we can get along." I introduce myself in an energetic way with a smile, making Fu Hua more confused. She tried to say something but I jump in. "Sorry but I need to go if I want to finish before breakfast." I look at the clock and it was 06:23 am, I needed to go if I wanted to finish the warm up before breakfast at 08:00 am. "We will talk more at breakfast, see you latter." saying that I run past her.

I exit the dorm and go to the park of the school to start the jogging session. While jogging I admire the surroundings and the cold morning atmosphere, it was relaxing and the light from the sunrise light that was reflected from the buildings nearby wasn't blinding but just right. After taking a few more laps around the park I start to see valkyries that begin their own morning warm up and I even happen to pass some of them and they say "Good morning" and I say it back, even knowing that they think I am Kiana It's still making me happy. Back at home, I was jogging alone every time since there weren't many neighbors that started jogging in the early morning, so I was happy to see someone else once in a while.
