Chapter-11: Here's where the story begins

One year later

It's been a year since I started attending st.Freya and started living with the main cast. Over the past year nothing big happened, we lived a normal life.. well as normal as it could be. We had to go on missions once in a while, and when I say we I mean them. I, who came a year later then them was not allowed to go on normal missions. I had to go on missions as a trainee with a supervisor like Fu Hua or other A rank valkyries and was not allowed under any circumstances to go on my own.

My training over the last year was pretty smooth since my training was altered by Mr.Winters once in a while to keep up with my growth and about the Gun Kata, I had no problems learning it since I already knew some of the moves from the game. When I did some of Kallen's moves to try them out, Kiana was taken aback since she didn't taught me those moves but brush it off as genetics.

My current status is like this:

And that's about it. I learned Taixuan after "begging" Fu Hua to teach me and after a whole week of begging she finally gave up. She taught me only the basics of her martial arts but it was good enough for now.

Right now I was finally deployed on my first mission without a supervisor, with Kiana, Mei and Bronya. And just my luck since this mission is about capturing the battleship Selene. My position right now is beside Bronya, her mission is to hack the battleship's defense system to deactivate it and my mission is to stop anything that comes in her way. If you ask me is quite the useless position since she can take care of herself but at least I am not just watching from the side lines.

While we make our way to in the battleship and to a control panel, we hear a loud crash and I can already guess what happened. (Kiana just crashed into a building. We need to hurry or Mei will need to use her Herrscher power to defeat the Imperator.) I start to clean our way faster, defeating the Honkai beasts and zombies without wasting time and Bronya hurrying herself after seeing me.

P.O.V. 3rd pers.

"Himeko, I've sent the Honkai Beasts packing. The Selene is within sight!" said a white haired girl with a confident smile. She was on a jet ready to land on the battleship in front of her. Once getting confirmation to land she jumps from her jet and starts making her way to the rendezvous point but she only thought of meeting her Mei-sempai.

After going through some of the monsters she receive a transmission from one of her colleagues that she got in position so Kiana change her course to her. Once she got there she "Kiana no paw" a zombie that was about to attack her collegue from behind. A "heartwarming" reunion later they arrived at the entrance of the battleship but before they could try to open the door, the Imperator that Kiana "defeated" earlier was back and seemingly stronger than before. It knocked out Kiana and Mei was about to release her herrscher power but the Honkai Beast was pushed back by a robotic arm, looking back she sees a little grey haired girl and another with haired girl but that one was using a Katana, they were Diana and Bronya. Diana came to help Kiana and Mei while Bronya started blasting the Imperator, once Kiana was in a safe place Diana left to help the Bronya, leaving Mei to take care of Kiana. Bronya was starting to be pushed back but in that moment Diana came and cut one of it's wings [those floating feather like plates, don't know the name].
