Chapter-17: Siberia's Simulation - Final part

The elevator's door opens and we go out of it. 'Cecilia' see's a control room and shove us inside, telling us to wait for her to clean the way. Kiana followed what 'Cecilia' told us while I just nodded. Kiana was in a very good mood. I could say that it was too good for the situation we are in. Suddenly, Kiana's mood dropped while thinking of something. I asked her what happened and she was just worried about the girl who wrote the diary. She then noticed the computer and left towards it before I could stop her.

Inside the computer, we found plenty of proof of Otto doing human experiments. The records showed how Otto dealt with the death of his subjects and their family. Pushing Kiana on the side for a moment, I looked through the files to find more specific records but most of them were encrypted, only showing some general specifics. (Seems Otto expected that I'll look more thoroughly than Kiana and encrypted what we shouldn't see. Tsk.)

While we were looking in through the files, trying to find more, 'Cecilia' appeared at the door, saying she finished. Kiana called her to get closer and get a look at what we found. She was taken aback at what she read. 'Cecilia' was about to realize the true reason, Sirin came here, but Otto called her on her coms.

To put their discussion short. Otto told 'Cecilia' to hurry and defeat the Herrscher before it grew too strong to be defeated. 'Cecilia' reasoned that she knows what she is doing but Otto then warned her. He said that if she doesn't kill the Herrscher in time, he would blow up the place. *KABOOM!*

"What? Is he going to blow up this entire place?" Kiana said in surprise.

"It's alright, Kiana. We'll move faster" 'Cecilia' assured Kiana. "I have a plan to take down the 2nd Herrscher. But I need you two to help me. Take the lift to the power room and cut the power to this place. Then I'll clear a path to the upper level."

"Will do./On it." we responded simultaneously. We enter the elevator and we go down. On the way down, Kiana's expression changes from confused to alarmed and then worry.

"Sister, we need to hurry!" Kiana said, turning to me.

"I know." I gave her a nod. The door opens and we start searching for the generator. Looking around we found an IC card and a sheet of paper, but no switch. (Was this how Kiana was left behind? *sign* But even if I would've remember that, I wouldn't change anything. I couldn't change anything...) We read the sheet of paper but nothing.

"Grr. There's no power switch here. This is just a safe room." Kiana said in frustration.

"Sister, I think Mom lied to us." Kiana turned to me so fast I could swear her head would've be broken if she wasn't a Kaslana. She was surprised since she knew that is rare to call her sister.

"We gotta go to the lift and find Mum." Kiana said while taking my hand, running towards the elevator. Once there, the elevator stopped working. "What is this? Why isn't the lift moving? Come on! Move!"

"Sorry, Kiana, Diana. I lied." 'Cecilia's' voice said through the coms.

"Cecilia! Open the lift!" Kiana shouted, but it was for nothing.

"Kiana, just stay in the safe room with your sister. That room is strong enough to take a missile blast. You two will be safe there." 'Cecilia' ordered. "I will defeat the 2nd Herrscher." she finished with determination.

"No, I want to fight alongside you!" Kiana shouted. I on the other hand, knew that no matter what we say will fall on deaf ears.

"Do you lack faith in me? Stay put, girls. I'll return when I'm done." 'Cecilia' sounded a little hurt but shook the feeling off.
