Chapter-39: Another Day, Another Home

"..." the room fell in silence as everyone turned their attention towards the holoscreens.

"That clown really doesn't have any limit to how far he can go before he destroys the humanity himself?" Tesla shouted after quickly analyzing the contents of the files. "Look at this numbers. If she went berserk... It would've been Siberia all over again." she murmured her last words.

"...He most probably bet on this." after a few moments, Einstein focused on the file that showed my abilities. "Diana, you are able to easily control Honkai energy and have some kind of mental immunity."

"Otto probably hoped that you wont be too influenced by the Honkai because of that." Welt said as she opened another file. "But if you failed to control yourself and went under the influence of the Honkai, this would most likely be the result over this continent." the file opened to show Nagazora after my awakening.

"...Thankfully, Diana managed to control her power. So we don't need to worry about that." Himeko said while still looking at the image on the screen.

"Himeko, I don't think that might be the case." Einstein said. "Don't you agree, Diana?" she asked as she look straight into my eyes.

*sigh* "You're right." I said, giving a small nod.

"But... aren't you here right beside us?" Theresa asked. "Be it before or after we arrived, we didn't detect any leakage oh Honkai energy and neither were there any Honkai attacks."

"That's because I managed to stop the Honkai energy inside from leaking. But I have a hard time completely suppressing my Herrscher form." I said while taking my hood down showing my flowing long hair and letting everyone take a better look at my cross shaped star pupils.

"It's not long since you awakened as a Herrscher. It's already good enough that you are able to your Honkai energy from leaking." Welt said as he put a hand on my shoulder. "Train to control your power, and once you master it enough, you'll be able to completely suppress it."

"And if it takes too long, I am sure I can adjust some of his equipment to help you for a while." Tesla said with a confident smile.

"Thank you." I said with a smile.

After that, we started discussing the [K-324 - Artificial Herrscher] files. If anything, this was basically a meeting with me as the theme of the conversation. The resume everything we talked about: How I became a Herrscher, Why did Otto make me a Herrscher, If Otto was able to make anymore Herrschers like me, and How to keep the fact that 'I am back' a secret.

Even if they weren't happy with the fact that I want to hide it, they were still willing to help me. So we went over what I need to hide and what isn't necessary. It seems some of my habits are quite 'unique' and I need to hide them from quite a few people. (Just how many people that came to AE know me?)

About three hours later, the meeting was done and Theresa called me to get ready to go aboard Helios to leave towards Salt Lake City.

"I am sorry, principal Theresa." I started saying, but I noticed Theresa becoming a little sad after that. (Did I say something wrong?) "I promised to go home before dinner."

"...Home?" Theresa mumbled a little confused.

"Yeah. Ms.Ashley promised to make my favorite steak for dinner and promised." at that, Theresa seems to realize something.

"You told them and yet, you still want to hide?" Theresa asked sadly.

"I... I was pretty much with the cat out of the bag by the time I told them." I said while laughing awkwardly and scratching the back my head.
