Chapter-41: Tuna's Suspicion

When I woke up, I took a few moments to remember where I was. After taking a few minutes to fully awake myself, I started hearing steps coming towards me.

"Finally awake, sleepyhead?" when I heard Tesla's voice, I finally remembered what happened. (Right. I came for a full body examination.)

"Yeah." I said as I slowly got up on a sitting position.

"How are you feeling?" Einstein asked, as she gave me my clothes.

"I'm fine. A little numb here and there." I said while dressing myself. "Anyway. How's my condition? Did you find anything?"

"Sincerely, you're a mess." Tesla said crossing her arms.

"Tell me something I don't already know." I said with a blank expression.

"Diana, that's not what Dr.Tesla meant." Einstein said while giving me a tablet. "The Honkai energy inside your body is so unstable that a normal person would already become a mutant Honkai beast, or they would had explode, creating a Honkai outbreak as a result." hearing that, I became a little terrified of that possibility.

"Don't worry. Your body is somehow able to contain that chaotic energy from getting out of control." Tesla said, trying to reassure me... I think. "But just to make sure, we already started working on something to monitor that energy and possibly suppress it. Temporarily that is."

"Until then, if you feel anything unusual, don't use your power and come directly to us." Einstein said as I gave her tablet back.

"Alright." I got up from the examination table and got ready to leave." By the way, just when is that 'something' going to be ready?"

"The sooner the better, but we hope to finish it before your lesson with Welt tomorrow." Tesla said, as she went back to work.

"Lesson?" I mumbled in confusion. "!" then I just remembered. (Oh, right. Welt said he'll help me with my Herrscher powers.) I then turned and left.

After leaving the Lab. I wanted to complete my training for today, but looking outside, I noticed that it already became quite dark outside. (Just how much did I slept?) after that thought, my stomach started growling, making me realize that it was long past dinnertime. With today's training already canceled by time, I went directly to the cafeteria to have a late dinner. With nothing interesting happening after, I went to bed early.

The next day, I woke up and stretched my body, making sure there wasn't anything wrong. What Einstein and Tesla told me yesterday, made me be more careful about the condition of my body. Once I confirmed nothing was wrong, I dressed up, put on my contact lenses and left my room. But as soon as I left my room...

"You..." I heard a familiar voice say from the side. "What are you doing here? You're from Schicksal, aren't you?" I looked towards the source of the sound to find a wide eyed Tuna pointing at me.

"..." I then stared back at her in confusion, until realization hit me. (Right! Kiana saw me before she escaped Schicksal! I totally forgot!) I mentally facepalmed myself at that realization. "Uh... I am confused. Have we met before?" I said trying to fake obliviousness.

"Eh? Well... she did have blue eyes... maybe- No! Even with different eye color, I saw you with Durandal before I escaped. I am sure it was you!" Kiana started confused but ended with determination. "What is someone from Schicksal doing here? If you came here to spy on us, be prepared to get your ass kicked." Kiana got in a fighting position, ready to 'kick my ass'. At that moment I wanted to smile looking at the slightly matured Tuna in front of me, but I couldn't do that since I had to act cold in front of everyone, with Kiana being the center of them all.
