"Long time no see, Diana. Please, take a seat." he told me. I was hesitant, but I sat at the table. On the table a saw a strawberry tart, a cup of coffee and some other desserts. "Feel free to eat. They were brought for you." Otto caught me looking at them.

"Thank you..." I said in a slightly low voice but enough for him to hear. (Ok... This is freaky. This are mostly my favorite desserts. The tart specially is my favorite. How in the world did He know?) I took a piece of tart and eat it. It was so good that I couldn't stop my smile. After a few more bites, I realized that I need to control myself. I raised the cup of coffee and took a sip for the bitterness to wake me up, but the coffee was just perfect with the tart. (When did I began to loose control of myself so easily? Diana, this is just food! Keep a hold of yourself!) Even though that was what I was thinking I didn't stop eating for not even a second.

"Was it good?" When he said that, I realized that I finished everything on the table. I blushed in embarrassment but nodded. (Someone please kill me already!) "I heard that you lost your memory, but I am glad you didn't change at all. Did you enjoy the books I've sent you?" with that, I looked at the books besides me. (Am I really an orphan he took in/kidnapped and raised... It doesn't matter. I'll never forgive him for what he did, no matter what.) I put a hand on the books and cleared my voice.

"I am very thankful for your attention, Overseer. I enjoyed the books you've sent me. Thank you." after I said that, Otto's eyes widened slightly but his smile never wavered. He seemed to want to say something but I cut him off. "Since you seem to know me well, may I ask you 'What kind of person was I before I lost my memory?'."

"Very well. But before I begin. Do you remember anything from before you woke up for the first time?" he asked me. I shook my head and waited for him to speak. "I see. Then let's start from the beginning, shall we.

A few years ago, there was a small Honkai outbreak in the East Europe. At that time I've sent my Valkyries to contain it, still there were numerous casualties. Most of them were with their remaining family, but there were still some that survived alone. One of those unfortunate people was you. You were all brought to the HQ together. At the HQ, the people were given a temporary residence until we could give them a stable place where they could start again. But some of them were given the chance to fight against the thing that took their home. Of course some refused, but there were still some that didn't want anyone else to go through the same thing as them. One of them was a little girl with white hair and blue eyes. That little girl came to me and asked me to train her. To make her strong enough so, she could protect the weak and innocent and to never let anything like this happen again."

Otto paused and started pour himself a glass of wine. I took that time to process what he said until now. (For now I assume that the little girl is me. So 'Diana' became an orphan after a Honkai outbreak and asked Otto to train her. 'Protect the weak and innocent' that part is from Kaslana's oath... Let's think of that later. At least his story until now is believable. Is he mixing the truth with lies?) I stopped my thoughts when Otto sat back down.

"That little girl had the nerve to ask The Overseer of Schicksal to personally train her. But I couldn't break the dream of a little girl now, could I? I asked her to train and prove that she deserves my training. Over the next years she trained herself for that purpose and became an A-rank Valkyrie. Two months ago she had her last test. The HQ was attacked by the reawakened second Herrscher. Her mission was to clear the Honkai beasts, but her group was attacked and killed by the second Herrscher. Finding herself face to face with the Herrscher, she did not run away, but fought it. She dealt with the Herrscher quite well. But in the end, she was pierced by the Herrscher's spear and was considered to be dead... Well, that until she woke up from a two months coma with memory loss." and with that he finished his story and the glass of wine.
