We arrived at sector O-17. Everywhere you look there is Mech parts, blood, body parts, corpses and battlesuits parts. This is more graphic than what they showed us. If it was me from a year ago, I would've throw up. In my first missions I was alright with Honkai beasts corpses and blood. But when it came to me or other valkyries getting gravely hurt or killed... I wasn't ready for that. I needed to go to visit a psychologist for the first two or three months to be able to do missions without freaking out. Theresa even offered me to drop out if it was too much, but I refused. No matter what. I wont give up. This scenery now was normal. I'm not pleased with the sight but at least it doesn't get in the way of my mission.
After a quick inspection, Theresa concluded that Sirin took over the battlesuits and making them to still give out signal. Kiana wanted to go straight to Siegfried after confirming that we got the bait but before we could be dragged away by Kiana an anti-Honkai VTOL drone was coming toward us. (She could hijack tech and drones? Was Sirin really the Herrscher of The Void? Just how overpowered did Mihoyo made her?)
The drone, unlike in the game, was flying over us while shooting to kill us. Me and Kiana got in position to fight while Theresa used the Oath of Judah to pin the drone with her spears and use the chains to drag it down. Once down, Kiana and I broke it to pieces. Kiana attacking its weapons while I was breaking its engine.
"That fight really delayed us. If this is the bait, then the 2nd Herrscher should be at Zone O-23." Theresa mumbled but we still heard her. "Girls, we must head over ASAP! Command, how long would it take us to get to O-23?"
"About 15 minutes." the response came.
"Have Siegfried delay the 2nd Herrscher. We must not let her get inside the Tower!" Theresa was getting worried.
We were making our way towards what I expect to be a fire storm. After about 5 minutes a the comms could be heard from Theresa, and low and behold. It was no one other than Siegfried.
"Theresa, the Comms Officer just told me that the 2nd Herrscher is heading our way!" Siegfried laughed. "Hah. I think luck is on our side!"
"Siegfried, don't do anyhing stupid! We're about 10 minutes away from you." Theresa told him. (Do you really think that would stop any of us?)
"10 minutes? By the way, Theresa... how long did it take for the 2nd Herrscher to defeat you?" He asked.
"...4 minutes and 50 seconds." Theresa responded hesitantly.
"That sounds like bad news to me. I can see her now. I guess I'll have to be 2 times better than you to keep her here for 10 minutes." Siegfried replied but something was of in his voice.
"If you can avoid fighting her head-on..." Theresa said.
"Forget it. I like to go in face-to-face. I'll see if I can take down the 2nd Herrscher here." Siegfried said. Witnessing this even with my own eyes, even as a simulation, gave me a strange feeling but I ignore it. (This is a simulation. Nothing would change that. So, don't think too much about it.)
"Hey! I knew you were planning to take her down with the Judgment of Shamash! Stop, Siegfried! " Theresa begun to shout.
"Of course. Take care, Theresa. Try to take care of Cecilia and Kiana for me." Siegfried gave his last words and closed the call.
"Wait! Stop, Siegfried!" Theresa shouted but it was too late. "Siegfried! Don't do anything crazy! Kiana, Diana, we must hurry up!"
"Theresa, why are you so worked up about the Judgment of Shamash?" Kiana asked and I just face palmed. (Did we talked about it already?)
