"Hi." the little girl said with a sheepish smile while waving one of her little hands. I smile at her, put her on the bed and I sat next to her.

"Hi. My name is Diana Winters. How about you?" I said while trying to be as friendly as possible.

"..." but the little girl just backed away slowly and didn't say anything for a while. "M-mama told me... not to talk to strangers." she said quietly and kept covering her head with the hood. (She doesn't seem shy, but...)

"She seems like a good mother." I said, trying to make her open up to me.

"She is." she said a little more confidently.

"Then, she's definitely worried about you. Do you know where she might be? Or how to contact her?" I asked her, thinking that she might be a lost child.

"I don't know..." she said with a sad tone.

"Then... How about your friend?" at that, the little pixie flew in the hands of the little girl.

"Miss Diana, at the moment we cannot contact anyone we know. Miss Aurora and I will have to wait until they'll come-" the pixie's mouth was covered by 'Aurora' before she could finish.

"Pixel! Shh." Aurora shushed Pixel, who looked back at her.

"There's no need to worry, Miss Aurora." Pixel said before going to whisper something in her ear.

"Ok. But if mama asks, it was your idea." Aurora said, pointing at Pixel.

"It is my idea." Pixel said before turning to me. "Miss Diana, would it alright if we wait here until someone comes to bring us home?"

"I would like to say yes, but this is a school. I'll have to ask..." in that moment, realization struck me like a lightning bolt. "Actually, I just remembered that I have to make a call. Could you two wait for me here? And please don't run away." I asked as I took out my phone.

"Don't worry. We don't need to run anymore." Pixel said and Aurora nodded.

"Alright. I'll be back right away." I said with a smile.

I went a little down the hallway from my room and called Theresa.

"Hello? Diana? I heard you offered to help us search for the intruder. Did you find anything?" Theresa pick up shortly after and asked me.

"In fact, I did. She's a lost child that can't contact her parents. She asked me if she can wait here until someone comes for her." I gave her a brief explanation.

"I see." Theresa let out a sigh of relief before hesitantly asking. "By any chance... does she have any kind of book with her?"

"I didn't see her having any." I answered directly.

"Nevermind then. Himeko and I will come to see her after we take care of some things." Theresa then changed the subject.

"Then, we'll be waiting in the living room." I said before hanging up. (A book? Don't tell me...)
