Confused at my situation, I look around the 'hospital' room. (Why in the world am I in a hospital room when I was supposedly dead? How am I alive?) Thoughts like this ran through my head. I started to sit up, but when I did, u felt a horrible pain in my abdomen that made me cover it with my hand. I look down to be surprised by a pair of mounts on my chest. I raised 'my' other hand to look at it and it was slimmer than what I remembered. I touched 'my' hair to feel that it was longer than before. (What the hell is going on?!) I started to panic, but then I slapped both my cheeks to calm myself down. (Y/N L/N clam the fuck down! Panic would solve nothing!)
I look around the room once more. Even though there were no windows, there were still two doors. I presumed that one was the exit while the other was the bathroom. I mean, what hospital room doesn't have a bathroom. I tried to get on my feet but I felt the pain in my abdomen again, stopping me as a result.
I stretched my hand and move it from a palm to a fist. It didn't feel heave or hard to move, but rather stiff. I got my courage and looked down again, but this time directly at my abdomen. I was wearing hospital clothes so, I couldn't see why my abdomen hurt. But touching it, I could feel that I was hurt. (Just what happened to this body?)
I laid back down and waited. I couldn't move around the room because of the pain so, I could as well wait. If this was indeed a hospital then that means someone will have to come and check on me. (...) *sigh* It will be a long wait.
Mini-Timeskip
After what felt like hours, someone finally came. The door opened and a man in a white coat entered the room. He had a tablet in his hands and made his way towards me. But stopped when he saw that I was awake. It took him a few more seconds before he regained his composure. He resumed walking and stopped besides me. I wanted to get up but he stopped me.
"No need to get up, miss Diana." He said, raising his hand to stop me.
"...U-uhm, who?" I said, surprising him. (Is that the name of this body's owner?)
"That's your name, miss Diana. You... don't remember?" he said with a little concern in his voice. I looked down and tried to see if I can see this body's memories, but nothing came. In the end I just shook my head. "I see. What is the last thing you remember?" he asked and looked at his tablet.
"...Sorry, but I can't remember anything." I said. (I can't just tell him I died. Can I?) He nodded and began to write on his table.
"Amnesia, huh? How does your body feel?" he asked while glancing down at me.
"My abdomen hurts and my body feels stiff. And I am thirsty." I said but the last sentence was in a lower voice.
"That is quite normal. Give me a second and I'll bring you a cup of water." he said while writing something down. When he was done, he left and came back with a cup of water after a few minutes.
"Thanks." I said. The cup of water was down in one breath.
"No problem, this is my job after all." He took out some medical tools and started examining my reflexes, heart beat and blood pressure. "Seems that everything else is normal. I'll bring you treatment for your abdomen wound and food later. Is there anything you would want to know?"
"W-where am I? And why... and how did I get here?" I asked still as confused as I was when I woke up.
"We are in the medical department of Schicksal's research facility in North Africa." He put his tablet down and looked at me. "You were brought here two months ago by other valkyries after your rough fight." hearing that I was left wide eyed, but that was only on the outside. In the inside was hell. (S-schicksal like The Schicksal. And Valkyries... Where the hell am I?! And in the world I got here?!) At my silence, the doctor got up. "I would leave you alone now. Seems that you have a lot to process."
