Chapter-34: Feelings of the past

It's been a few days since Kevin's visit. The days passed by with me getting the Honkai Energy within me under control. In the end it was the right decision to stay in this deserted city. Since I took residence in here, Honkai beasts started appearing. In the end, they became my targets for practice.

While testing my Herrscher power, I discovered a few things:

First- I can replicate Herrscher's authority. (Requirement unknown)

Second- I can use multiple authorities at one. However, the more authorities I use at once, the more is the strength of each one divided.

Third- If I focus on a single authority at a time, I can almost perfectly other Herrscher's power. (Didn't have an example to confirm.)

Lastly- Even as a Herrscher, I would be continuously attacked by Honkai beasts.

After looking through the recordings I took from Schicksal, I still could find any recording of a Herrscher similar to me in the previous Era. This world IS exactly the same as the story in the game, only that I didn't existed there. As the firsts and hopefully only Artificial Herrscher, I broke the fixed amount of Herrschers that were suppose to be born and gained an authority that wasn't in the previous Era.

An anomaly indeed.

Today is the day I finally stabilized myself enough so I won't create any problems even if I enter a populate city. While stabilizing myself, I looked through the information about myself and promised myself to confirm the information once I am stable enough for that.

The first place to visit would be my 'birthplace', but I'm sure as hell, I am not gonna go near any Schicksal Lab. at least for the time being. Then, the next place on the list is Soukai City.

Timeskip

I arrived in Soukai City around noon. Since it was still early, I decided to take a look around. I don't think anyone would miss the chance to visit the city where St.Freya High was placed and where our dear Valkyries were trained. And since I was wearing normal clothing with a hood covering my face, I blend with the crowd fairly easily. Only my eyes could make me stand out. 'wasn't able to hide her Herrscher pupils'

The Soukai City was big and had a lot of people, unlike the temporary HQ where only Valkyries and Schicksal employees could live in. Truthfully, this was the first time I came to a city in this world. I was quite used to the common technology here, but it was different with seeing normal and oblivious people walking or running around.

It had quite the peaceful feeling to it. It was true the saying 'ignorance is a bliss'. No one knows the danger that the Valkyries deal with everyday. The life's that were used to keep this temporary peace. But we can't blame them either. They are just normal people after all.

"Hey! Just leave me alone!" As I was just roaming through the city, some guys were harassing a girl that seemed to be around the same age as me. (Things like this really happen?)

I looked around and I see that everyone ignores them like is a day to day occurrence. (-_-) A little irritated by this ridiculous scene, I approach them with a clenched fist. I started jogging towards them...

"Leave Judy alone, you bastards!" but before I could help her, a tall and muscular man approached them. He looked like he could smash their heads together with little effort.

"Haa? Stay out of it, you muscle brain." one of the thugs said as he pulled out a knife from he's pocket. The big guy didn't move.

"Didn't you hear him? Do you want to eat lead?" another one said as he pulled out a gun. The big guy still didn't move.
