Chapter 25 - Ending on a Bad Note

Jermaine POV
I pulled up to my moms house. Amir was hype, I parked and he couldn't wait to get out his car seat and go in. One because it took us longer than expected to get here since we went to my house and changed.

"Come on cause we late" I told her and I got out the car and walked around, opening the door for her.

"Well I didn't want to smell like outside"

"Trust me you didn't" I told her and she rolled her eyes getting out the car. Before she could move I pressed her up against the car "what I tell you about that eye rolling shit"

She smirked then I loosened my grip. She walked around me and grabbed Amir out the car. He stretched then yarned. Once he finished he grabbed her hand.

"You nervous?" I asked her and she shrugged her shoulders. I couldn't quite read her emotion. She really wasn't expressing any.

"I think it's just the fact that we didn't do so well with meeting parents, you know?"

"No I don't know, you will be fine trust me. She's very lowkey and my grandmother loves you already"

"How?"

"Thanks to Amir and my myself you are already winning, especially because of Amir" I replied and she looked down at Amir. She laughed then we walked up to the door.

She was just staring at the door and I moved my arm up to knock.

"I can hear your heart beating"

"You can?" she replied back nervously

"Nah I'm playing" I told her

"Oh" she said then we continued to wait then the door flew open.

"Jermaine it took you long enough" my grandmother said grabbing me into a hug then Amir. Soon as she moved to the side Amir ran in. We walked in but still standing close to the door. "So who is this gorgeous women"

Teyana smiled then I spoke "this is my girlfriend Teyana"

"Girlfriend? When you get a girlfriend" my grandmother said and Teyana facial expression changed. I was confused "baby I'm kidding, I have been waiting for this day"

"Why you playing like that?" I said

"I'm sorry baby If I scared you, it's a habit because Jermaine doesn't think I still have it in me" she said grabbing Teyana in a hug. Teyana hugged back "loosen up we love people"

"Grandma you lying, we don't love people" I said and she looked at me with a hard look

"Boy! Can't you see she's nervous, now she have to meet your stuck up mother. Lord knows that lady is something else" she said and I laughed.

"She's kidding" I told her and Teyana just innocently nodded.

"Yeah I'm kidding" my grandmother said and rubbed Teyana's back in a circular motion. Teyana calmed down then we walked in.

It was crowded but before I introduced her to everyone I wanted her to meet my mother first. I pulled my mother to the side.

"That's her?" My mother spoke in Awh. I nodded as we looked at Teyana from a far. Teyana squatted down to talk to Amir but he brought my little cousin Adrianna over with him to meet Teyana.

"Yup that's her" I said admiring her cocoa butter smooth skin that reminded me of cocoa. Every time someone meets her we always discuss the perfect pigmentation in her skin. It's so radiant and bright. Before her body catches you her face. Her face and smile gets me everyday. When she smiles that dimple shows.
