Chapter 31 - All the Way Tonight

"Godddammmn dammm dammm damn" Jermaine said then walked away. The flash of the cameras flickered on my skin. He was being so dramatic as he bit his fist and closed his eyes. He walked away to get a better glance of me

"Aww" everyone cooed as he came back over then paced away again.

"Baby you look amazing!" He finally came over and grabbed my hand. He looked me up and down, biting his bottom lip.

"Stop playing" I laughed

"Goddamn" he said once more "ok ok"

"Ok let's get some pics" my mother spoke and from family to friends swarmed us with their cameras.

Jermaine looked at me like I was dessert as I caught him staring in my peripheral vision. I smiling from ear to ear and then Jay laid his hand on the lower part of my back which was bare. My chilled from his touch then he leaned closer.

"You look beautiful" he spoke as I heard all the vibrations from each word. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up as he whispered more things in my ear. The grip on my lower back became tighter "I like your hair too"

I dyed my hair a dirty red or burgundy today to match my dress. Even though my dress is white with a mermaid tail. My back was cutout to my lower back. My dress was custom made by myself.

"Thank you" I said back through a cheeky smile. My cheeks was hurting so bad from smiling to hard, but it was worth it.

"My baby" my mother spoke and I laughed. My father and brother took pictures on the side. For once my father seemed some what happy since our big argument. We still haven't handled it in the right way, but I'm not tripping.

"Baby you look beautiful" my godmother spoke as we finished taking pictures and we touched up on my makeup.

"Thank you" I spoke as I looked down at my lace dress. It has always been a dream since I was little girl to wear a pretty dress and look as beautiful on this one day. But I look back at everything and just a take breath to notice how lucky I am to have my dream man on my arm.

I looked at J and he was smiling for pictures. Placing his hands on his chin then laughing. He was showing off out here as he posed for pictures for Steez, Bas, and Omen.

"Ayy you doing this shit my nigga" Bas said gassing Jermaine's head at this point.

"Ok ok, get me and my girl" J said as he walked over squatting down and posing by my butt. I laughed.

"So tonight? What are you guys doing?" My godsister Lalia said I laughed "Yo! Ya got the free?"

"We got a hotel for just Jermaine and I but its a party right after prom on the roof" I spoke "somebody rented out two floors, so now shit is going to be lit"

"yo! That sounds better than my prom, it was lit but not that lit" Mila spoke and Lalia laughed.

"I fucking hope so" I spoke

"You guys need to get out of here before it get too late" my godmother spoke as I looked up at J. He nodded his head over and stuck his hand out. I grabbed it.

"Ok be safe and when I say safe I mean safe" my mother gave us the sternest look. We both nodded rapidly as J picked up the tail of my dress.

"Ok ma" we said in sync as they followed us to the car. Everyone was here to see me go off to prom and I was thankful for that but I was more than ready to turn up after prom.

"See you later" I told my brother as i watched my father speak to J about something. After he finished they both chuckled so I grew curious.

"See you baby and have fun alright" Tristen spoke and I nodded with a smile as everyone came to the car one by one telling me to have fun.
