Chapter 35 - The Party & ...

"Right and I'm only 17" she spoke with all seriousness in her eyes. I shook my head breathing deeply.

"It's okay to be scared, just let me know" was what I wanted to tell her but I didn't feel like arguing with her tonight when I already got shit to think about.

"Yeah whatever" I told her, leading her into my room. We walked in and just dazed at a restful Amir in deep slumber.

He had his arms behind his head and his body sunk deep in the mattress with the thick comforter.

This time of the day when I see him like this it makes me forgot about everything this lil boy did to fuck up mood today. It's like he sends off tranquil beams of stress less light to everyone when he sleep.

She walked over to the couch taking her jacket off, laying her mcm backpack on the ground after placing her keys inside. She grabbed her tight ass dress from the bottom and lifted over top of her head. She walked to my dresser grabbing a Tshirt and putting it over her head. She got in the bed pulling Amir closer to her. She laid his head on her stomach and placed her fingers in his hair.

I shook my head all the way to my bathroom. Hopping in the shower. After washing up and thinking for about an hour I got out. Doing my hygiene thing then walking out the bathroom. When I walked out Amir had his arms wrapped around her waist as she was on her phone.

"Am I missing something?" She spoke and I chuckled

"Your fucking brain" I replied without thinking. This shit had me bugging.

"what you talking about?" She spoke and I got in the bed after getting dress and turning the lights off.

"nothing, go to sleep" I said and she sucked her teeth but I heard her lay her head down.

Graduation Day Night

"Graduation was mad sad" Grace spoke and I nodded as I grabbed my dress for tonight

"I thought is was going to be more emotional but everybody was ready to leave" Taylor spoke as she continued to flat iron her hair.

"Same" I spoke

"yo steez's party is going to be a lituation " grace spoke and all laughed.

"It really is like the party will be better than graduation" I laughed as I sat on the bed "but what's really blowing me is that we have to go stay at Steez's crib after for the Gang sleepover and J's going to be there"

"J? As in Jermaine? Your boyfriend?" Taylor spoke and I nodded as I looked down at my finger tips.

"we kind of been real rocky lately like recently we disagree on everything"

"Yeah that's what couples do and then they fuck afterwards, ew couples" Grace said "this is why I love girls"

"Anyways, what do you mean?" Taylor asked me

" Amir got in trouble in school for putting his middle finger up at the kids that was teasing him" I spoke and they snickered.

"Yo! Amir is truly Jay's child" Grace laughed laying back in my bed.

"Poor baby, getting teased for what?" Taylor questioned "how could they tease him, he is the cutest and hilarious"

"They were fucking teasing him about not having mom" I said feeling the same hurtful feeling I felt the night Jermaine told me.

"but he has you, why you don't pick him up from school anyways?" Grace said and Taylor laughed.

"Grace shutup" Taylor laughed then hid her face.
