Chapter 50 SNEAK PEEK -unexpected guess

"Is Taylor in town?" My mother asked and I nodded. I decided to have a dinner with close friends and family in celebration of getting into the Academy of Art University in California. When I first told my mother I had already applied weeks prior, so I was basically waiting on the letter.

When I first talked to my mother about it, she wasn't too excited about it but then we talked more. She made me understand why she wasn't for it but then soon gave in once I made her understand why I had to get out of here.

This place was definitely home, but it was time for new beginnings. It was time to start my life in unfamiliar places. Be in a different place for a while. I'm not saying I will stay there after school but for now it's the best place for me right now. I will be back soon, but I have to leave here soon.

"I know right!" I spoke and I got out. I looked in car window, noting my outfit choice. I had on a white off the shoulder puffy lace crop top. Some wide leg denim jeans and some heels. Natural makeup with contour and highlight and my Selena bob that I cut again with red lipstick. My hair was a really good wash and go.

We walked to the entrance of Nobi, she walked in front of me as we entered the place. It was unexpectedly dimmer than usual. The lady nodded as she looked at my mother. She instantly came from around her post and guided us through the place.

"Damn it's dark in here" I whispered to myself.

"SURPISEEEEEEEE!" Screams filled the restaurant and I jumped. The lights flicked on. The place was all different, compared to what it usually looks like. I smiled seeing all my friends and family that is supporting my decision.

"Mommy!" Amir ran over to me and I picked him up in my arms.

"You can't wait for us move huh?" I said to him and he nodded. Everyone came over to hug me and congratulate me. I walked around greeting everyone. Congratulations was written on basically every item in here and a big cake sat by the DJ booth, and Steez was DJing tonight. I walked over to the booth which was surrounded with Bas, Cozz, Omen, and Ib.

"Congratulations Wifee!" Bas hugged me and smirked slightly as I nodded.

"Yeah Congratulations Tey!" Omen spoke

"Yeah baby sis I'm proud of you" Cozz spoke

"Thank you guys for coming, I appreciate it" I spoke then I proceeded to walk away. I felt so embarrassed still to even talk to them. They all knew and I didn't. I hated being the last to know something and it didn't help that it was all about me.

"Yo Tey, can I talk to you" Omen spoke and I nodded as he walked to me and we walked to a table nearby.

"Wassup" I spoke

"I just want to let you that we didn't know, this all was a surprise to us as well. We just want to apologize because in a way we all feel like we could of stopped it" he spoke and I nodded as I heard him.

"So what you want me to do?" I spoke as I crossed my arms across my chest.

"You want me to forgive you all?" I questioned " I have already forgave you guys, I don't know if I believe that you guys didn't know because I don't know what to believe anymore"
