To say Nina felt uncomfortable is an understatement, Zach's arm on her shoulder made her entire body feel rigid. He just happily drank his coffee while staring Nina down as she glared at the table in front of her.
Dallas sat there. His eyes burned into Zach in case he so much as moved in a way he didn't like. Zach smiles at Dallas before once again putting his eyes on Nina. "So- Nina.... Your new here what's a new girl like you like to do for fun?" Zach asks leaning in closer then necessary as Nina looks at him unimpressed.
"Read. Nothing too great." She says blandly waiting for her food to arrive so her and Dally could leave.
"Ohhhh I'm sure there's something interesting you do. I'm sure Dal here would agree." He says with a nickname for the boy that makes his eyes go to slits at Zach who acts to not notice. Dallas didn't mind if his friends called him that but Zach was certainly not his friend.
"Man don't you got somethin better to do then bother broads? I mean you came here alone which tells me you ain't got no friends already. So how about you just get lost and go find some of your own." Dallas says with a little smile that could look playful if you didn't know him, but he more so looked annoyed yet proud of his comeback.
Zach slowly looks away from Nina and at Dallas before shrugging pulling the girl even closer to him. "That's what I'm trying to do Dal, I mean.... You seem to like her company so maybe I will too. She's.... Also really pretty." He says with a smile making the girl side eye him then roll her eyes pushing his arm off harshly.
"Feisty too. Kind of reminds me of Sylvia.... Except less bitchy." Zach digs at Dally's old girlfriend trying to get a rise out of him but Dallas didn't care that he was shit talking his ex so he just remained stoic.
"Nina- do you have a boyfriend?" Zach asks making Nina side eye him again and refrained from looking at Dallas. "Not that it's any of your business but no." She says tapping her fingers on the table looking for Margie to bring their food.
"I don't know- might be my business if I wanna take a hot girl like you out on a date." He shrugs looking her up and down which made her look away with obvious disgust. "Never gonna happen. So if that's all you want you can leave, your starting to make me lose my appetite." The girl says with a false smile that makes the boy bite his lip and then look at Dallas with a nod.
"Yep she's definitely sexy I mean- god I would just love to fuck-" before he could finish Margie sets Dallas and Nina's food down in front of them.
The distraction was good because Dallas jaw tensed very noticeably as his eyes burned into the boy. Nina noticed but looked away when Dallas went to glance at her.
