I like to say I have a sixth sense. It's always lurking in the back of my mind. Even when I'm sleeping. I can't tell if this mysterious feeling is positive or negative. Though sometimes I catch myself talking to it. It's always there, in the back of my mind. Sometimes it feels like it's right behind me. Other times it feels like it's looking at me through a telescope, far from the human eye to see. I once asked a question when it felt like it was near me. ''Why did Ajax suddenly go missing?...'' The silence was deafening. I had given up. I sat up, sighing as I tried to think. Wednesday would have solved the case if she hadn't mysteriously disappeared but she had, leaving me dumbfounded, caught up in my thoughts as I tried to link up any clues I had. It was then I heard it. ''HE WAS USELESS.'' My head snapped around. Nothing there. I let out a deep breath I didn't realise I was holding. My body was hot and I shook lightly. I know I heard that, but the voice paralyzed me with fear. Fear of how it was so full of hate it made my heart pound till I felt like it was going to physically explode from my chest. I could hear it in my ears, pounding against my mind, pulsing in my clenched fists. I was scared.

The corridors were silent this morning. The interiors were rather devoid of students. Due to all the disappearances, teachers of nevermore let pupils take a break from classes, to mourn the missing. Especially for those who were close to them. But I needed to keep up with my studies, otherwise, Wednesday would punish me. If she was here anyway. I act like Wednesday sometimes. Of course, I don't want to be exactly like her, but even something as simple as how she eats will help me remember her. ''ENID.'' My body temperature instantaneously became scorching hot, my head jerked around, and I quickly began to sweat. Nobody was behind me. The halls were empty. ''Your friends are just pulling a joke on you.'' I tried to convince myself. ''That's all it is, just a funny joke.'' Nonetheless, I had moved very quickly along the hallways. If I entered a lesson, it would stop.

The thunder is roaring tonight. The flashes of light illuminate the paper I write on. I haven't heard the voice in a while, but the feeling of its presence won't leave. The constant feeling of goosebumps on the back of my neck is unsettling. Even though the voices have disappeared, I'm more on edge. I can't seem to shake the feeling of breathing right behind me. Like I'm close to death...

The blonde paused there. She didn't know what else to write in her diary. So in response. She stood up, placing her pencil down. Her eyes flickered to her missing roommate's side of the room. All of her things remained. She couldn't stop herself from walking over and picking up one of the black toys she had gotten Wednesday days before she disappeared. Enid couldn't help but smile a little. She hugged the toy to her chest, standing up and walking back over to her bed. The second she crossed the border, the loudest lightning strike had rung through the room and the dorm was illuminated with light.
