chapter 49 | cancelled

Zak POV
On Christmas Eve we got the news, the rest of our tour around the states is cancelled.

So now we're on our flight back to California from Missouri. We're now packing ready to leave for our flight.

Apparently the tour got cancelled due to some big problem in the places we were supposed to perform at. One of them being closed due to the reason of a recent fire that happened in the building, the rest were for unknown reasons that we weren't told about yet.

I don't have very much content but yet sad feelings about this situation.

I guess I get to celebrate Christmas at home this time, I can see Darryl and I don't have to stress to much about performing. But I'm starting to feel remorseful for all the people that were counting down their days to see us play in live action. Hopefully their refund of money + the free limited edition Inside Sweater poster that came with it would make up for it.

I sigh and we start to walk out of our Airbnb with all of our suitcases, some staff trying to help us carry it into the car.

ohh that's all good, my tour around the states is cancelled so now I'm currently in a private jet flying back

Wow you really had to bring up the 'private jet' part didn't you?

You can celebrate with me, my friends and my grandma?
Vincent and Harvey's parents don't celebrate christmas

should I bring gifts?

Ooo actually me, Vincent and Harvey were planning to do a round of bad Santa
But since the numbers were uneven we couldn't do it
Grandma didn't wanna do it for some reason.

Zak
what is bad Santa?

Darryl

Bad Santa is a game where you bring a gift anonymously and you receive a gift back from another person later on, so pretty much like exchanging gifts
I like to play where we put the numbers 1 to (the amount of people playing, preferably an even amount) in a hat written on pieces of paper and you pick randomly.
The number you get, is the order you get to choose your present
For example : if I get the number 3 in the hat, I go third to choose my gift.
You can not choose your own gift.
I've normally played it where we open the present at the end
