Meanwhile, outside the Hôtel de Ville, the bus stopped where Officer Roger was, the Ticket Inspector and Sabine got off the bus and walked over to Roger, Marin, and Bridgette walked up to them.
Ticket Inspector: Hey there, Roger, I got a customer for you. No ticket, no money, no ID! And get this, she even made up a story with a daughter and everything!
Sabine: Ah, Roger, perfect timing! Tell this man I'm not lying. Our daughters are together in the same class.
Ticket Inspector: (laughs) Seriously? This woman just can't stop lying!
Roger: Uh, well the thing is, yeah, it's the truth, but...
Sabine: The truth but what?
Roger: Well, I'm sorry, Sabine, but you were on the bus without a ticket, that's a violation, and without ID to boot, to boot, you know I have to take you in for an identity check.
Sabine: An identity check? Are you kidding, Roger? We've known each other for years!
Ticket Inspector: Watch out, she's getting aggressive! She's getting aggressive!
Roger: The law is the law.
Marin: What? We are her family; we're standing right here!
Bridgette: Hel-LO! Are we invisible?
Ticket inspector: You two rude children stay out of this! This doesn't concern you; you have valid tickets! It's your mother that doesn't!
Bridgette: We know that. Our sister has her ticket!
Ticket inspector: Imaginary sister. That's the oldest trick in the book!
Bridgette: What? *Marin scowled at the Ticket Inspector. *
Marin: She's not Imaginary, she does exist!
Sabine: Please sir, she must be worried wondering why I'm not at the next stop to meet her! *Soon, Sabine's phone rang. * Oh, hang on.
Ticket Inspector: Whoa, whoa, whoa! *He snatched her back and handed it to Roger. * Don't move! Take her pocket!
