After the battle with Anansi and Ladybug retrieved the miraculouses, everyone resumed back to their lives. In the school cafeteria, everyone resumed their lunches.
Alya: Who else was freaked with all the spiders?
Alix: I took cover, which was spider-free, well until the last minute when they showed up out of the blue. *She eats her grilled cheese sandwich. *
Mylene: (Guess I can scratch fear of spiders off my list.) *She eats some mashed potatoes and holds a carton of milk. *
Sabrina: I took cover in the nurse's office. Luckily the nurse allowed me to stay there until it was over.
Alya: Wish I'd thought of that. *Then, Marinette's phone buzzed. She gets it out and sees a message from Luka. *
🐍: Heard there was an Akuma. Are you okay?
🐞: Yeah. Luckily, I handled it, and with some help too.
🐍: That's good.
Alya: Texting your boyfriend?
Marinette: What? No, maybe. *She put her phone back in her purse. * He just heard about the Akuma attack and wondering if I was okay.
Rose/Mylene/Juleka/Zoe/Sabrina/Alya/Jessica/Aeon/Alix: Awwwww. *Marinette blushed from that, from afar distance, Chloe looked at them with a glare, and Lila drank some water as she watched Chloe getting angry at them. *
Chloe: Ugh. Here I thought we would be friends again, but instead, she tosses me away like an old pair of shoes.
Lila: Don't worry. Once we show what a horrible person Dupain-Cheng is, she'll be begging to be your friend again.
Chloe: And just how can we prove that dumb Baker girl is a horrible person, which I pointed out a few times. But those half-wits don't even see it?
Lila: Relax... I'm the master of deception. I got the whole school to believe she stole from me. I got them to believe that she pushed me down the stairs. Proving her to be a horrible person will be a cakewalk.
Chloe: Hmm... I'd like about you. So, tell me how do you despise Dupain-Cheng?
Lila: When I started school, I came up with a few lies about charity and there was one that I told everyone I'm friends with Ladybug, but stupid Ladybug appeared and told Adrien that I was lying about it. He believed her and that made me mad and start hating Ladybug.
Chloe: Huh. Guess I'm not the only one who also hated Ladybug.
Lila: So, you hate Ladybug too? This just gets better and better!
Chloe: Ever since she renounced me from the Bee miraculous since "Shadow Moth" I mean "Hawkmoth" put my family in danger. Even when I tried to get her attention, she still wouldn't pick me to help out. And now she's given it to Vesperia, a wannabee who can't even measure up to my greatness!
Lila: Guess you and I have something in common. We both have a common enemy.
Chloe: You mean two common enemies.
Lila: Yes, that. (This might seem perfect.)
Alix: You guys doing anything after school? *Juleka drinks some grape juice, Rose eats a grape, and Zoe eats some spaghetti and meatballs. *
Zoe: Sabrina and I are doing a studying session after school. *She eats some more spaghetti and meatballs. *
Alya: I'm not doing anything. *She takes a bite of her meatloaf and scoops up some mashed potatoes. * What's up?
Alix: My old man has set up a new sculpture in the Louvre.
Sabrina: What's the new sculpture?
Alix: I don't know. He never told me. I doubt Jalil knows. *She takes a sip of her tomato soup. *
