At Place des Vosges Park, Elise sets up the chess board and the chess pieces. She was practicing for the upcoming chess tournament she signed up for. When she was practicing, Lila walked by the park.

Lila: Oh, hi.
Elise: Oh. Hi.
Lila: What's that you got there?
Elise: Just my chess game.
Lila: Chess?
Elise: Yeah. I have a chess tournament this Sunday so I'm just doing a little practice. Oh, and chess is a board game between two players. It is sometimes called international chess or Western chess to distinguish it from related games, such as xiangqi and shogi. The recorded history of chess goes back at least to the emergence of a similar game, chaturanga, in seventh-century India.
Lila: Oh. I know that. (I do not know that.)
Elise: Do you play chess?
Lila: Uh... ye-yeah, I do. I've been trained in chess.
Elise: Okay. I could use the extra practice from someone who can play.
Lila: Okay. *She sits in front of Elise with her while pieces. *
Elise: Want me to go first, or do you want to go first?
Lila: Uh, you go first.
Elise: Okay. *They start playing, of course, Lila is stumped on how to play so Elise gives her a full walkthrough on how to move her pieces. In Alya's apartment, after Timmy and Chris were done dancing, they sat on the couch. *
Alya: Ella, Etta, would you like to play next?
Ella/Etta: Yes!
Nino: Okay. What song would you like? *He goes through the list. *
Ella: That one! That one! *Nino looked at the screen showing Crazy Little Thing by Anja. *
Nino: Crazy Little Thing by Anja? *They nod their heads yes to Nino. * Okay. *He played the game, and they started dancing to it. *
In the Grand Paris Hotel, Zoe looked at her phone when she stopped at the dining room, she saw Butler Jean walking by.
Zoe: Jean?
Butler Jean: Yes, mademoiselle Zoe?
Zoé: Is my stepdad in his office?
Butler Jean: Of course. I saw him go in there earlier.
