It's 6:00 a.m., the sun starts to rise all over the city and the sun's rays beam through Marinette's window. The alarm went off on Marinette's phone, she reached for it and turned it off, she yawned and got out of bed.
Marinette: Good morning, Tikki. *Tikki yawned and rubbed her eyes. *
Tikki: Good morning, Marinette.
Marinette: I'll wake the others for breakfast soon.
Tikki: Okay. *Marinette stopped at the calendar and saw what today's date was. * It's Friday.
Tikki: Yes, you have your family photo for the adoption, right?
Marinette: (Going through the closet and finds an outfit) Yes, Tikki. Just hope it's not an all-day thing. *She looked at her outfit and carried it with her left arm. *

Tikki: What is adoption anyway?
Marinette: (Stepping into the bathroom, washing her face, and getting ready to brush her teeth) It's the action or fact of legally taking another's child and bringing it up as one's own or the fact of being adopted. So basically, my parents are gonna be adopting a baby, and adopting is a long process. *She starts brushing her teeth. *
Tikki: But how long will you be able to get the baby?
Marinette: May take months or a whole year. *She keeps brushing and spitting in the sink. *
Tikki: Wow.
Marinette: That's why we have to make sure we do everything right so we can get my baby sister from China. And that's getting our picture taken. *She then starts getting undressed and steps into the shower as Tikki steps out of the bathroom and waits patiently for her to come out. In the kitchen, Sabine makes some scrambled eggs and toasted bagels for breakfast. *
Sabine: Okay, hopefully, they'll love these scrambled eggs and some bagels I toasted for them.
Tom: Mm, do I smell scrambled eggs and toasted bagels?
Sabine: Yes, you do. *She hands him a plate and he takes a bite. *
