The Lego Movie Wyldstyle Falling In Love?

Hey guys! Here's a The Lego Movie oneshot! It takes place after the talk Wyldstyle/Lucy had with Emmet when she went to the room where Bad Cop is. It'll be in her Pov. I hope you enjoy!

The Lego Movie

Wyldstyle/Lucy's Pov

As I made my way to the room where Bad Cop is, I couldn't help but think about the conversation I had with Emmet. Emmet's words are still buzzing around in my head like an angry bee. 

'I really like that name'

I smile. Emmet is so sweet and kind and innocent and pure and precious and cute and adorable and funny and has a precious smile. I have this...weird, fuzzy, warm feeling deep inside of me. I've never felt this feeling before, not even with Batman. I think it's...is it...love? 

My eyes widen in realization and shock.

Was I...Falling for Emmet? This is so wrong! I already have a boyfriend! I can't be falling for another guy! I mean what kind of crazy person would do that?! But Emmet is so much more sweeter, kinder, more caring, and more loving than Batman. And Emmet has this adorable charm. I think that cupid's up to somethin' I think I'm in love...With Emmet...I didn't think it could be true...Let alone that it would be him...But I've never met a guy like him before...He makes me feel special inside.

French Narrator:"Later..."

When Emmet was about to sacrifice himself.

Wyldstyle/Lucy's Pov

I saw Emmet rolling towards the broken window. I got worried.

Wyldstyle/Lucy:"Emmet! What are you-?"

Emmet turned to me.

Emmet:"Lucy!"

He called me by my real name. I was worried and confused. What was he going to do?

Wyldstyle/Lucy:"Wait-wait what are you-? What are you-?"

Emmet:"Now it's your turn to be the hero."

I suddenly and painfully realize what he is going to do. My heart shatters. No. No! NO! Not that! Anything but that!

Wyldstyle/Lucy:"No!"

I was so sad, but the thing Emmet said next was so adorable!

Emmet:"See you later, alligator."

With tears in my eyes, I beg him not to go.

Wyldstyle:(Horrified 'Please don't go' look)"Don't!"

What happened next broke my heart. Emmet jumped into the abyss! I felt like my heart's been ripped out of my chest. I call out.

Wyldstyle/Lucy:"No! Emmet!"

While I prayed that he would be okay the dreaded countdown continued, until suddenly I heard 'Error. Termination failure.' 

He did it. He unhooked the battery! I was free. We were all free? But what about Emmet?

Wyldstyle/Lucy:"Emmet!"

As soon as I was released, I rushed to the broken window while I prayed that he would be okay.

'Please be okay'

'Please be okay'

'Please be okay'

When I got to the window and looked down, my heart dropped to my feet. 

Emmet wasn't there.

No. No! NO!

Wyldstyle/Lucy:(Sadly and crying and reaching a hand...er...claw out)"No."

While the others talked, I couldn't help but mourn for Emmet. It's official.

I was in love with Emmet.

And Emmet is gone.

Forever.

And I'll never see him again.

And get to tell him how I feel.

Even though I'm dating Batman.

I tried not to cry but it was very hard. It's hard not to cry when the person you love is gone forever and you'll never see them again. Especially when you're rude to them from the start. And what hurts even more is that you're rude to the sweetest person on earth.

French Narrator:"Later..."

I was fighting the micromanagers when suddenly I heard Emmet's voice.

'Hey everyone!'

I can still hear his sweet little voice. Wait a minute. That's really happening. I turned around and my heart leaped with joy. Emmet! He was back! Oh my G-O-S-H! Yay!"

Wyldstyle/Lucy:(Happily)"Emmet!"

The Lego Movie Spongebob Time Card shows up with the word 'Later...'

Emmet:"Where's Lucy?"

Emmet! He called me by my real name! Again! I lifted a micromanager and was so overjoyed to see him again.

Wyldstyle/Lucy:"Emmet!"

Emmet:"Lucy!"

He ran to me. I threw the micromanager and leaped into his arms. My heart was soaring! As he twirled me I felt like I was on cloud nine and was flying! He set me down.

Wyldstyle/Lucy:(Happily)"We did it."

We reached for each other's hands and then I heard someone clear their throat. I looked up and saw Batman. Oh right. My boyfriend. 

Wyldstyle/Lucy:"Oh, uh, Emmet, wait. Batman, there's something I need to say to you..."

Batman:"No Wyldstyle. I mean...Lucy. He's the hero you deserve."

I slowly smile. 

Wyldstyle/Lucy:"Thanks Batman."

I turn back to Emmet and gently turned his head towards me. He smiled. I love his smile. It's too cute! I held his hand and gazed into his beautiful caring eyes. I was beyond happy. I giggled happily, grabbed Emmet's construction vest and kissed him. I KISSED HIM! LIKE, PHYSICAL CONTACT WITH HIS FACE! Emmet was shocked, surprised and taken back with his eyes wide open with shock and surprise and his hands up in shock and surprise. I wonder what he's thinking now...

Emmet's Pov

Is this really happening? Is this real? Is this a dream? Am I dreaming? I touch Lucy's face. Nope. It's for real. This is really happening. The girl of my dreams is KISSING ME! I was beyond happy. I smiled really big into the kiss and closed my eyes as I kissed her back and let myself get lost in the kiss. I know the others were there and staring and 'Oooing' and 'Awwing' but I don't care. It felt like Lucy and I were the only two people on earth now. I put my hand on Lucy's cheek.

Wyldstyle/Lucy's Pov

I felt Emmet smile into the kiss. I know the others were there and staring and 'Oooing' and 'Awwing' but I don't care. It felt like Emmet and I were the only two people on earth now. Emmet's lips are so warm and so soft and full of love. I put my fingers in Emmet's hair and slowly ran my fingers through his hair. As I hummed through the kiss, I thought to myself 'So this is love. It doesn't feel like the 'love' I had with Batman. This kiss doesn't feel like the kisses I had with Batman either. No this...this feels...warm and true and real...

Wyldstyle/Lucy:"Mmmmmm..." I moaned into the kiss. I decided to spice the kiss up a little my putting my tongue in Emmet's mouth and explored it. Emmet was surprised but he consented and put his tongue in my mouth and explored it. When we ran out of breath we slowly broke the kiss. We put our foreheads against eachother, smiled, stared into each other's eyes and went back to holding hands.
