Dragon came down from the sky,
Brought thunder to the mountain side.
No place to hide in valleys wide.
She and I
We wondered: Why
Not dragon ride?
Why not go far,
Depart this deceived day?
Together start, together stay,
Reprieved from this world's sad array.
Was mistake to make delay.
Dragon heart, blow fiery foam,
That we not be apart,
Alone, unknown,
And grieving.
Rather to go, believing, home
Together, blameless, we who,
Nameless, gather,
True our dreams,
Not rue our schemes.
For now—
Dragon in your wake could whirl so clever,
Bind with strange bird
Flying above, endeavor
To some day find
Strange girl to love...
