- Wednesday's Child is Full of Woe -
1x1

The ride to Jericho is nothing short of awkward. Not only is it just Wednesday and Vada, but they are being drove to town by Principal Weems. It is eerily quiet for them all. Unluckily for Vada, she feels sick. She has been feeling this way all day and only one thing can make sense of this sickness; death.

Wednesday has not said a single thing whilst Principal Weems has spoken of the therapist they would be having for her. Selling it to her as if it is an amusement park she is going to and not an overly decorated office with a little too happy of a woman.

"Here we are, girls. Dr. Kinbott's office is on the second floor. I'm sure Vada can show you the way." She says to Wednesday before glancing back at the girl sitting in the back, looking out of the window. "Vada, I trust you can successfully stay in the waiting room for the half hour Wednesday is in the office?"

Vada wants to say something snarky but keeps her words on her tongue and bit back. "Yes, Principal Weems." She says calmly, looking up towards the woman before getting out of the small van. Weems smiles, satisfied with her answer for now. Before the door could shut, she puts a finger up to stop Vada.

"Perhaps after your sessions, we can stop by the Weathervane for hot chocolate." She proposes. Wednesday looks back at her. "Principal Weems, this feeble attempt at bonding is beneath you." She informs.

Vada furrows her brows in surprise that the girl has just said that to her. Expecting an immediate form of punishment for her rude comment, Vada stays where she is, just waiting for Weems to make them get back in the van and go to Nevermore again. It never happens.

"And chauffeuring your students around is below your pay grade." Wednesday ruthlessly adds before beginning to shut the door. Principal Weems leans forward in her seat. "Judging by your past, you're likely intent on running away. I'm here to prevent that from happening."

She and Wednesday begin to have a staring contest it seemed for a moment before Wednesday smirks slightly. "I wish you luck." She says before finally slamming the door closed. Vada looks at Weems one last time before heading inside behind Wednesday.

Dr. Kinbott meets them at the base of the stairs, probably wanting to make sure Wednesday is able to find her way to the office. "Hello, Wednesday. I'm Dr. Kinbott, your new therapist. We will start with you first." She informs and looks at Vada, smiling. "Hi, Vada. How are you doing?"

Vada shrugs and sits down in the waiting room, getting out her phone. "I'm fine, I guess." She says. With that, Dr. Kinbott and Wednesday go upstairs, likely to have another staring contest. Wednesday doesn't seem the type to talk about her feelings.

A few minutes pass and Vada looks to the desk where a small lady is usually napping or doing paperwork, initially put there to make sure patients waiting from Nevermore don't run off. A small sign is placed on the desk. 'Gone for Lunch. Returning at 12:45'

A small smile forms on Vada's lips as she puts her phone back in her pocket before heading to the window that leads to the back of the building. She checks the lock and grins when she finds it unlocked. It slides up easily as Vada crawls out of the window, standing up right when she gets out. "Fresh air." She grins and closes her eyes for a moment before quickly heading to the Weathervane which isn't  hard considering she is blessed with teleportation in small distances.
