- Woe What a Night -
1x4When Wednesday had asked Vada to go out on a walk with her, the last thing she expects to be doing is sneaking into the coroner's office.
Thing smears black bubble gum over the surveillance cameras whilst Vada slips in through the window.
The garage like door opens as Wednesday slips under and looks at the girl in front of her. "How did you get in before me?"
"There was an unlocked window by the dumpster." Vada informs as if it is obvious.
"Right.. Thing, while Vada and I do the autopsy, you find the files on all of the victims and make copies." She says, walking to the cooling units where they keep the bodies.
Vada grins. "I love this part."
"You've done this before?" Wednesday asks in confusion, looking for the correct tag.
"Many times with my father." Vada nods and looks at one of the doors in specific. "That's the one." She points.
"You can sense which one they are by scent?" Wednesday pulls open the metal gurney and looked at the body.
"Duh." Vada responds and looks at the tool bag Wednesday has brought along. "Eenie.. meanie.. miney... mow" She picks up the scalpel and grins before looking back at Wednesday.
"Thursday, 7:23pm. The body is that of a 50 year old male. Lacerations and defensive wounds on both hands. What remains of the chest and torso also indicates a frenzied attack. Subject has been almost entirely disemboweled." She says into her tape recorder.
Vada grins and walked over. "I wanna see, Wens. There's not a lot of disemboweling where I come from." She whines a bit.
"Subject's left foot is missing." Wednesday ignores Vada. "Chewed off at the ankle." She says.
Vada rolls her eyes and puts the scalpel down before looking over as Thing runs in warning them if someone coming.
"Who?" Wednesday asks. There's no time to find out as Wednesday slides the body back inside.
Vada quickly puts the scalpel back and puts the bag into Wednesday's backpack. She opens the window. "Come on! There's no time for automatic door." She says quietly.
Vada climbs out and pauses when the office door is opened. Wednesday looks up. "Take Thing and hide. I'll be out soon." She whispers.
Vada grumbles. "You just want longer with the bodies." She says before taking Thing and shutting the window behind her. She goes and hides behind the dumpster whilst Thing perches on her shoulder.
"She know what she's doing?" Vada asks. Thing does a small sign for yes and the girl relaxes slightly.
The Sheriff and Coroner soon leave and Vada goes to the window. Wednesday opens it and hands her the copies that Thing had made. "He's quick, I'll give him that." She smirks.
Vada rolls her eyes and puts the papers in her backpack before helping the girl out of the window.
"You know, I think our plans would work way better if we brought someone tall like Enid or Ajax. We can't keep boosting each other up when it barely adds momentum." She rants slightly.
