Vada walks into the dorm, looking around as the place is trashed. "Wednesday?"

"He's stabbed! Vada!" Wednesday looks at her and holds Thing up, showing her that he had been stabbed.

"Who stabbed him?" Vada asks, grabbing a towel to put Thing in.

"I don't know!" Wednesday puts Thing in the towel before running off to the bee keeping shed.

Vada follows as Fester wakes up. "What is it?"

"Someone stabbed Thing!" Wednesday lays him on the table.

Fester rubs his hands together and shocks him but Thing stays still. Wednesday is watching from the side of the table, tears in her eyes.

Vada looks at Wednesday before looking at Fester. "Again!"

Fester does it again. "He's gone, Wednesday. He's not coming back."

Wednesday shook her head. "No. Thing, If you can hear me.." She sniffles. "If you die, I will kill you.... Go again."

Fester looks at Thing and tries again, looking at the hand as it's fingers move slightly.

"Yes! He's coming back!" Vada grins softly.

"For a minute we thought you picked your last lock, buddy." Fester grins softly.

"Who did this to you?" Wednesday asks quickly.

Thing begins to tap slowly against the table. "Knife from behind the back.. cowards." Wednesday growls out.

"Thing, just rest okay? Wens and I will find who did this to you and make them suffer." Vada says as Thing taps his finger again before relaxing again.

Wednesday picks up the towel. "I'll stitch him up."

Weems is more than upset at Wednesday for taking the diary but the worry now is that it's been stolen.

"Faulkner spent years studying Hydes. He wanted to determine if they were just mindless killers or conscious of their actions."

"What was his conclusion?" Vada asks softly, looking at the woman.

"He was killed by a Hyde before he could reach one. Others tried to carry on his research but the Hydes were too unpredictable and violent. They were officially banned from Nevermore 30 years ago."

"All this time you knew what the monster was.. why didn't you tell the sheriff?"

"Because then Nevermore is done, over and shut for good and that's not happening on my watch." Weems explains simply. "I'm not the only one withholding. If you suspect someone, you two need to tell me."

"You don't care how many people die as long as your reputation is safe." Wednesday informs.

Weems scoffs. "I am protecting our Nevermore family which includes you, Ms Addams."
