"So, how did you end up getting The Weathervane? I figured for you, they would pick some sort of freaky shop." Tyler asks, looking at Vada who is putting a red apron on, looking in the mirror to place the name tag correctly. She looks up.

"It was randomized. No one had planned jobs. However, most of my classmates switched to get the job of their choosing." She informs matter of factly.

Tyler walks over, gently reaching down and moving her hair out from under the neck part of the apron. Vada tenses but watches him from the mirror with hesitant eyes. His eyes are focused on her shoulder it seems, a small smile on his lips as he finishes.

"Well, i'm glad you're stuck with me for the day." He whispers before moving a few steps back. Vada turns slightly, brows furrowed in question but they are both interrupted by the desk bell being rung. Tyler smiles and heads out of the back room as Vada follows quietly.

"Okay, so if someone asks for any type of food, always put the gloves on okay?" Tyler looks at Vada, showing her the gloves and then the small enclosed cabinet with bakery items inside.

Vada nods and looks up at him. "What about if they just want coffee?" She asks.

"We don't have to use gloves unless it's a hands on coffee. I'll handle those though." He promises her. "Make sure to always wash your hands before and after each coffee though so the customer knows you have clean hands."

Vada nods and looks towards the sink before looking at him. "Anything else?" She asks.

"Yeah, one more thing." Tyler turns and grabs a rag and small tote like container. "You're on table cleaning duty since there's no rush." He smiles slightly.

Vada looks at the supplies before gently taking it. "Easy." She promises and heads off to the closest dirty table.

She puts the dishes in the container before wiping the table, pulling back just in time to bump into an old man carrying his coffee by.

He spills the coffee all down the front of her. "Watch it, freak." He growls out in annoyance and puts the coffee mug in her container before storming out.

Tyler quickly rushes over. "Shit, Vada. You okay?" He asks worriedly, leading her to the back room again. She sighs out as she follows.

"I'm fine. It wasn't that hot. I just don't have any spare clothes." She admits. Not only the apron but her uniform is covered in coffee.

"I got an extra change in my backpack. Just.. stay here." Tyler says and walks off quickly. Vada sighs and looks at herself in the mirror. At least she hadn't gotten any in her hair or face. She almost would've preferred that. Now Weems is going to ask questions, people from her school will stare.

Tyler returns with an outfit for her. "It might be a little baggy on you since you're a lot smaller than me." He informs and glances at her.

Vada glares and takes the clothes. "Never say that again." She warns before going into the stall and changing. It isn't as bad as she had thought. A simple hoodie and some jeans that were a little too long but not too baggy for her. "Do you happen to have a belt?" She asks.

Tyler smiles and slides one under the door. "Too big?" He questions in a teasing tone. Vada rolls her eyes with an exhausted groan.
