"Maybe it's the liquor. Maybe it's the song.
Don't know what it is, but you turn me on."

Outside, I lean her against my car while I dig for my keys. Daisy's right arm stays drunkenly wrapped around my neck. "You are so handsome." She slurs.

With a chuckle, I shake my head. "You are so drunk."

Now it's Daisy who shakes her head. "I'm not that drunk." And then her head falls forward landing on my shoulder.

Yeah, okay.

Not that drunk huh?

Finally, I manage to dig out my fucking keys so I can unlock my car. It usually never takes me this long but I'm also never dealing with a drunk girl.

Shit. I think she fell asleep like this.

I open the passenger door and with extreme caution I sit her down on the seat and put her seatbelt on.

Daisy let's out a groan. "Noah?" She asks.

"What's up?"

"I lost my keys." Her tone sounding like a sad child.

Of-fucking-course! This would be happening to me right now. Here I am trying to be a good person and help out my friends and this beautiful drunk girl is not making things any easier.

I let out a breath. "It's okay. We'll find them tomorrow D." Before she says anything else that will make my head explode, I close the door.

Before getting in the car, I pull my phone out and dial Miguel's number. It's barely about to be one but I don't think he's asleep. And Sure enough he picks up, "What's up? Everything okay?"

I let out a squeaky sound. "Uhhhh. I mean she's fine and all but she is drunk as shit."

"Drunk ass shit?" He sounds like he can't believe it. "Like actually, stumbling and slurring, fucked up?"

Remembering her stumble and giggle earlier makes me chuckle. "Exactly like that. But wait, there's more coming...she just told me that she lost her keys."

Miguel sighs. "Oh God, Where is she right now?"

"In my car...probably asleep." I tell him and then he bust out laughing. "What's so funny asshole?"

"It's just that I can picture her and the look on your face." He says with another chuckle. "But just take her with you. My room is free."

I've been drunk ass shit like this before but I never in a situation where someone has had to take care of me. I feel bad for D in a way because her friends were all on the same level as her and I don't think they even really noticed when I took her away.

How would she have gotten home if I hadn't been here tonight? She's lost her keys, and it's not like she's able to drive anyway. Hell she can barely stand.
