Nothing like the holidays. To be surrounded by family for days straight is just the best. Not. Especially when you have a big family like mine and one annoying ass sister.
Hannah is older than me by two years, but she likes to act like she's all older and wiser sometimes, which is super irritating.
I'm sitting on one of the giant beanbags on the living room floor, playing Madden 23 with my younger brother Joseph, when my sister rushes in huffing and puffing at me.
"Noah!" She scolds. "Tell me that you didn't hookup with Jackie's friend on Thanksgiving!"
Joseph snorts from the couch.
And I don't even bother looking up at my sister. "I did not hookup with Jackie's friend on Thanksgiving." I repeat the words she told me to say.
That causes her to growl. "Grrrrr!!" She yells.
"Dude chill." Joseph chuckles. But that only makes Han even more mad.
"What?" I look up at her, trying not to laugh.
My sister is a damn drama queen. Ever since I became a teenager she was on my ass about not messing with her friends. Even though most of them were older.
Though I guess, that didn't always matter to them.
And even now it still hasn't changed.
"You did hookup with her, didn't you!" Han continues.
Thanks to her dramatics, I mess up on the game and throw a fucking interception. See this is why I mean by her being so annoying. Always making a big deal for some small shit.
Annoyed, I look at her again. "Not on Thanksgiving." I finally admit.
Of course my confession doesn't make it any better. If anything it makes it even worse because now Hannah is really fucking pissed at me.
For years my sister and Jackie have been best friends. They played volleyball together and later they also got into cheerleading together as well. I've known the girl pretty much all my life. She is pretty much the only friend of Hannahs that I never messed with.
Because contrary to what my sister believes, I don't always fuck shit up.
And like every year, Jackie stops by during our Thanksgiving break. But this year she brought one of her friends from college—Olivia.
This was all our first time meeting her.
All of Olivia's family is in Venezuela so she had no place to go and Jackie was cool enough to bring her back home so Olivia wouldn't be alone.
Honest to God, I hadn't even thought about hooking up with her but she came on to me and well I am a weak, weak man.
At first I thought it was just cause we had a few drinks but then now we've been fucking this whole time I been here. Except for Thanksgiving night. All my family was over and we didn't get a chance.
