"Karma is a God." - Taylor Swift
The arena is packed when we arrive. It's crazy to think how so many people actually don't leave campus for Thanksgiving break. And also it's crazy how many fans these college hockey players have.Blair and I remind Cassie to stop fidgeting with her hair and hands. Especially when we walk in with the girls. She has to appear unfazed and unbothered by what happened.
Most importantly she needs to stand her ground and not allow those little bitches to bully her anymore.
Sure enough when we walk in all the girls gasp at the new look Cass is strutting. It's nice to see them all fill her with compliments.
"Cassie girl," Mila starts, "You look fucking amazing."
I smile. "Doesn't she?"
The girls all agree and continue to shower her with compliments, while softly touching her hair.
A few feet away, Stefany and Caroline are talking to some hockey players. They still haven't noticed us.
Then I see that one guy again—Drew. He skates up to where their standing on the other side of the rink and says something to his teammates. I'm guessing he's calling for them already. It doesn't seem like he pays any attention to the girls but just as he's about to skate off, Caroline says something to him.
He laughs at whatever she says but not in a flirty way. It just looks like he genuinely thought it was funny. Of course she makes a show by leaning forward on the edge and even then he shows zero interest.
I do find ir crazy because although Caroline is not a nice person, she's ridiculously hot. And usually that's what men always tend to care about.
My eyes dart to him. He's also ridiculously hot!
It actually blows my mind how he looks at her. You can tell he's not interested but he's still at least listening to her and not being a jackass by just brushing her off.
Because my nosy ass is too focused on Caroline flirting with Drew, I don't notice Mila walk over to me. She says something to me but I don't catch it, and before I can ask her to repeat it, she shouts. "Girls!" And waves them over.
Both Caroline and Drew turn their heads in our direction. Caroline answers Mila, while his eyes find mine and it looks like he's trying to figure something out.
Quickly, I look away first.
The plan to seduce Noah didn't work and now my mind has me wondering if maybe Drew would be a good candidate for me?
Caroline shakes me from my thoughts when she snorts as she notices that Cassie cut her hair. Bitch. "Wow, Cass, you got a new haircut." She says attempting not to laugh.
