Dragon AU- Sun x Moon Part 3

Sun's pov:

Safe with my mate... Monty never bothered us after we moved... Never asked why saying Monty scared me.... After the startling event I was scared to be alone, Moon trying to help when he could.

Damn... I hate being so.... So small... At least Moon is with me during these struggles....

Moon's pov:

Sun is always in danger from his size.... Too venerable to leave alone long. I WILL NOT RISK A REPEAT OF THEAT MORON MONTGOMERY! That said... I need to hunt... But his bright colors aren't helping...

I set him in the brush, him looking almost like a flower there... should be safe to sit there at the least. I prowled over to my prey, hunting a deer that seemed skittish. A meal for us both..~

I got closer... The deer oddly not moving, seemingly staring off somewhere. Suddenly, right I strike the deer, killing it, a gunfire went off! I snap my head towards where the deer looked, only realizing now it was where I hid Sun...

NO!- SHIT- SUN!- I rushed towards the sound of the blast, seeing Sun struggling as a group of humans attempted to capture him, seemingly injuring his leg. I roared in rage, charging forth till they seemed to fire my direction, chasing me off.

I could hear Sun crying out in panic, "M-MOONY!- R-RUN!-"

I felt tears well in my eyes as they had captured my mate... No... My everything. I attempted to defend myself from those that chased me, killing those that dared stay, burning them to crisps but my mate... I was too late as they escaped and took him with them... I lost my sweet mate!

Sun's pov:

I was yawning in agony and fear, dragged off by these.... Humans! One of the few threats to our species other than our own... And they hurt M-moony! I was horrified as I was restrained to the ground, scared of some possible hell or torment they planned... Nothing but fear to prepare for....
