Moon's pov:
Ah... How lonely eternity feels... Immortality and the thirst for blood neverending.... But then love sprouted from my most recent acquaintance... A warm blissful feeling I've never felt since original youth....
He was such a pure soul... Simply saying hello and offering sweet treats... and introducing himself as a new neighbor... My past neighbor having been a previous meal... But none of them have... Given offerings...
I suppose I was... Merely curious... Tempted to test a new thing... Not many things have changed... At least of being noticeable...
But... As days turned to weeks... We spent time with one another... He was a baker... Making sweet treats and offering his spare goodies to make fresh each morning... I found it sweet.... Charming even... And had invited him to my humble abode on several occasions....
After all... The neighbors are normally food... But my plans, each invitation was always deflected or altered by my arising love for him... It flustered and excited me to see Sun... I was undeniably smitten over him...
And then he offered to study with me... Becoming a personal chef for me... I always felt it was... Unnecessary... But for a baker, his cooking was as exquisite as his pastries... I did slip that I fed mainly from blood and to my surprise he accepted to do anything in his power to accommodate.
I won't lie, finding a mortal that seemed in awe of the reality of a neighbor being a vampire was rather flattering. More on, one that planned to use them for a food source... He even accepted being a feeding source for me... But... Each time... I couldn't bring myself to taint the skin of such purity..
Now on him having moved with me, I met my current predicament... We sat at dinner... Sharing a meal as I held a glass with blood he specifically attained via his own methods he hid from me... And he with a glass of one of the oldest wines I've collected in ages from my personal collection of brews....
I was again gazing to the steak dinner paired with the sweet nectar of O+, "So... Sunny... You know so much that I enjoy your company.... And I am thankful for a mortal that ISN'T after staking my heart.... But I still question what you gain from keeping me stocked in blood supply... Or where you get it from...."
He chucked softly, "Oh... company I suppose... And learning so much from the years you've been around! I find it so fascinating... I mean.... How have you hid yourself and evaded the notice of others for so long?..."
"I see..." ,I hummed, "But I suppose it is a secret I'll die with. Much like you seem to be with you're secret of the source of your blood stocks..."
He chuckled shyly, "Fair enough... At least I learn of the wine you make!"
He arose from his chair, gathering his plate and sipping the last of his wine, "Then perhaps we both show one another a few things..."
He had my attention.... And I could always filter what I share... After all... he can probably guess for most of it. I made quick work finishing my meal as well.
Sun's pov:
I left the dinner table, figuring I could show him where all that blood was from... Technically it was one of several... Allowing me to share my methods... Of course I give him my own blood... But I also use a mixture of pork and sheep blood. I had studied blood types to attain only the most perfect blood though. Ensuring it stays fluid and doesn't clot before serving and mixing with my own blood.
I grabbed a needle to drain more of my blood as a minute or so passed before he game in. He gave a slight gasp, going to me, "Sun! What on earth are you doing?- I told you I'd rather not harm you!"
He kinked the tube I was using and I sighed, "But why?... I only wish to help... And I don't over do it to exhaustion.... But you wouldn't accept taking it yourself so I figured it was better than just animal blood..."
He sighed, helping me remove the tube I drained blood with, "B-but Moony... You never tell me why?... What is wrong with my blood that disturbs you so?...."
He looked away, "It's not your blood... It's... How I feel of you.... How you always have those bright doe eyes.... I just... Don't want to ruin you in such a way... You're a wonderful baker and cook... Someone that I am just... mesmerized by... I... I just couldn't bring it apon you..."
I couldn't resist blushing, leaning to his touch as he tried to bandage my arm from blood drawling, "Oh... But moony... I'd love to spend eternity by you...~"
He blushed and I immediately kissed him, holding him close as he was riled to hunger from the fresh blood I had poured to the open container... We passionately kiss as he tried to resist biting me but when we at last parted for the unfortunate need of air, I brought him up against my neck, practically begging for him to claim my taste..~
He gently kissed as he gently licked before at last nipping my throat..~ I purred happily..~ And at last... perhaps I'll see his secrets of eternity and join him in a bind of learning endeavors... Till death... Shall we part from this world..~
