Afterlife AU- Sun x Demon Moon

Moon's pov:

I was a demon, not having to really do anything to have people fear me... Everyone was afraid of me... Well... Except for one..~

I was summon by someone called Sun... And... I loved him... I wouldn't say it out loud since he would probably be scared but... I really cared for him... He actually talk to me like a decent person and tried to befriend me...

In the end I told him I would be his friend but he seemed to think I was an angel... I didn't want him afraid of me so I took the role as his angel..~ As such I protected him from threats, though I didn't let him see me do so... Speaking of protecting... Seems he needs my help again with people taking advantage of his kindness..

Sun's pov:

I was dealing with an angry mother who wanted her child to stay the night. I knew we weren't allowed to so I was having troubles with her, "Why can't he stay the night!? I can't send him anywhere else!"

"Please calm down ma'am.. he can stay in the day but you have to pick him up before closing or we will have to call child services.." ,I tried to explain.

She ignored me and huffed as she stormed off, leaving the child. I sighed and brought him to where he could join the others. After a while I heard what sounded like the mother from before yelling in distress outside of the daycare. I told the kids that it was nap time and got them ready to rest before going out to check on the lady.

When I went out I saw her looking to be hit with a blunt object and gasped, calling for a guard and anyone to help. I was worried and confused... Who would kill a random woman? It seems like an odd coincidence that she was harassing me and then died minutes after. Someone was called to pick up the child and all the other children got picked up early. Since this mysterious murder we closed for a few days.

I was scared and wanted someone to talk to so I tried to talk to the angel I summoned one day, "H-hello?... Moon?... A-are you there?..."

He appeared from a shadow and sat by me, "Yes Sun?... Is something wrong?.."

I nod nervously, "Someone that was trying to argue about how long their child stay had.... Died... A-and I'm scared..."

He came over and held me, making me blush faintly, "I'm sure it will be safe..~ How about you lay down and I'll wake you up if anything happens?.."

I nodded and snuggled his chest gently, "Thank you Moon... It help to know you care about me..."

He smiled and hummed to me. After a few minutes of him rocking me in his arms and humming I fell asleep, glad he wanted to help.

Moon's pov:

I killed her.... I killed the woman that harassed him... He is safe from that rude woman... The problem is I'm not sure if I got him in trouble for it... he seemed so scared... But now he's asleep... So calm and happy...

I layed him down and tucked him in, watching for anyone who may interrupt his rest. I saw a guard coming in and I went down, watching her closely. She was about to yell but I came put of a shadow, showing myself.

She gasped as she stared at me, "W-who the fuck are you!?"

I growled and put a finger to my lips as I hissed out to her, "It isn't anything for YOU to worry about. Not like your slate is clean... Now leave. Sun is sleeping and you likely don't have that good of a reason to wake him..."

She pulled out a taser and pointed it straight at me but I was unfazed, "ARE YOU THE ONE WHO KILLED THAT WOMAN!? IS THAT WHY YOU'RE HERE!?

I snarled and charged at her, gripping her neck tightly and leaving to a more secluded area in the theater basement, "I thought I said that Sun is sleeping?... It's rude to wake people from their much needed sleep..."

She attempted to taze me but found it was useless as I made it difficult for her to breathe or speak, "Now cut that out 'miss'... Unless you want dead on the floor next..."

She stopped struggling and I tossed her to the floor away from the exit. She gasped desperately for air before speaking, "W-what the fuck are you!? A demon!?"

I couldn't help but smirk, "Actually... That is EXACTLY what I am..~ And be grateful I am more merciful then most demons or I would of cut your throat and made you disappear like your... 'side job'?~"

She seemed terrified as I smirked and continued, "Yep! I've seen what you do..~ I KNOW your moves..~ And I'll make you a deal... Leave. Sun. Out of it!"

She growled, "YOU DON'T SCARE ME!"

"If I didn't you would of walked away... Now is it a deal... Or not?.."

She sighed, "Fine... But you better leave me alone you freak!"

I snickered at her terrified and disgusted face, "As long as you keep your half I'll keep mine~ After all... I can make you seem mad and nobody will ever know~ But you touch the one who I'm being a guardian for... And you're dead."

She nods and scrambled away. Good... One less danger for my little angel..~ I went back to his room and guarded him, making sure she didn't come back. I will always guard my angel... Forever as his guardian..~ Even if my slate isn't good... He's all the good I need~
