Act 3: part 1

Hughie and Annie were ready for the red carpet, "Hughie are you ok?" Annie ask looking at Hughie while he messes with his sleeves. "Yeah how do I look?"
"You look great. Hey breath if anyone is gonna find Athena it's gonna be you ok."
"Yeah I just miss her so much."
"I miss her too you ready?"
"Nope," they walk out on to the red carpet, Victoria walks over to Hughie, "please kill me."
"Only if it's murder suicide. Any word about Athena whereabouts?"
"Nope."
"We'll Tremors is a good agent she'll come home."
"God I hope so," Hughie says messing with a ring he brought before Athena went missing. A-train wraps an arm around Hughie, "picture!"
"So who are you wearing?"
"I don't know."
"Good I didn't give a fuck anyway."
"Tremors is alive," a-train says and leaves Hughie alone with his thoughts. He went to the bathroom and went to the sink, he turned around, " Jesus Christ."
"Not quite Wheres my daughter?" Billy asks Hughie.
"I don't know she's be gone for 3 months Butcher. What do you want?"
"The boys are ready I just need your permission," he says annoyed.
"Great I'll just run it by Neumann."
"Or you can just put your big boys pants on and just give me the ok."
"Fine and Butcher don't kill anyone." 

Butcher sits at the desk with a computer looking through the security cameras, he orders a connect four game. As Frenchie and Kimiko Wonder around the place, Kimiko signs Frenchie

Kimiko and Frenchie and walk around looking Terminate they get to a room, and Terminate goes small and jumps on Frenchie, "oh my god going inside of me!" Frenchie freaks out then Terminate ends up in a bag of white powder. Butcher dumps the bag out and he puts his hand over Termite, he thinks about killing him, "call the Breu," butcher walks away.
"Wait your letting him live."
"Tell him it was overdose and I need to find someone."
"Madame Stubborn is strong Butcher."
"I know Frenchie I just hope she'll be ok."

Athena sat in the cell 42d in the seven tower, "Let me out!" She screams from the floor. "Yeah sorry Tremors i Can't not yet."
"What do you want me with John," she ask weakly and knowing calling him that will make him angry as Homelander sticks her with another syring. He then picks her up and throws her against the wall, "you can't fight back and that's the best part."
"I'm gonna kill you one day. If you lay one hand on Hughie or my family I'll burn this place to the ground scorched earth and all."
"Oh and Athena I hope your aware you can't beat me your a girl you will never beat me I am a god"
"Yeah a god with an ego so fragile he has to kidnapped and tourte woman I don't think that will look so good in the news"

"You whole life is a compromise!"
"At least I have a life! I didnt mean That."
"Hughie they have my girl, my daughter, your girlfriend!" Butcher screamed at Hughie As He shoved his Hand in the pockets of his coat feeling the ring box he was Gonna proposed to Athena with, "I know butcher. I want her back to But we can't compromise on what we do or everything Athena has helped us to will be for Nothing."
"You don't get to talk Hughie Your the reason my daughter is probably dead."
"Madame Stubborn is to stubborn to die!" Frenchie yelled. "I think Your just mad That m.m and i both left. Just move on it's been a year she would've wanted that."

Hughie sat in the apartment, "oh god Athena where are you?" He turns on the news, "yes the seven has the Know Vigilante Tremors-" he turns it off and calls Annie, "Annie Homelander has Athena."
"I'm coming over we can Figure out what do to do."
"Annie what if?"
"Hughie she's a fighter and damm good one if anyone is gonna make it through the bullshit Homelander is throwing at her right it's gonna be Athena. Ok I promise she's amazing and well get her back."
"Thank you Annie." The next morning, "Annie what are you still doing here?" Hughie ask peaking his head into the living room. "Oh shit I fell asleep on your couch sorry."
"No it's fine. Did you find anything?" Hughie asks then he hears a knock on the door. Hughie gets up and open the door he sees Athena barley staying awake getting held up by another woman he doesn't recognize, "are you Hughie?" The woman ask.
"Yeah and who are you?" He ask helping Athena inside. "I'm her biological mother," she says and lay Athena down on the bed. "Will she be ok?" Annie ask. "Yeah she will be She's a fighter just when she wakes up she can't know who saved her please. She's happy with that grumpy man I don't want to change her life."
"What's your name?" Hughie ask as he grabs Athena hand then he looks at her forearms. "It doesn't matter," the woman leaves as Annie sits down and they both look at her forearms. "Her powers did this."
"Yeah will you get the pain killers and the bandages from the bathroom."

Athena's pov:
I wake up and look around I find a clock, "7pm." I whisper and look around, "I'm home." I sit up, "hey beautiful take it is easy you've been out all day."
"Hughie is This?"
"Yeah baby Your home," he walks over and sits down and I hug him. "I'm sorry."
"Oh honey it's ok I've got you I promise." I hug him tight and burry my head in his shoulder, "I'm so sorry I shouldn't have gone on that job alone."
"Babe it's ok I'm just glad your back what happened?"
"I don't even remember how I got there or how I got back. Homelander was there he kept me sedated I-umm."
"Hey it's on your safe. I brought you come pain killers for your arms and if want some help to change into more comfortable clothes." I nod and take the pain killers then Hughie helps me take my suit off. "Oh my god," Hughie says looking at the scares on my stomach. "Did he do this?"
"Yeah I think so. Have you told dad that I'm here?"
"Not yet," Hughie hands me one of his shirts and I put it on. "Athena I have a question I need to ask you because I can't live a day without you because these last 3 months have been hell you can ask Annie."
"Oh my god is Annie?"
"She was worried about you but she didn't know about you being with Vought till this morning. Ok but where was in. Right umm Athena Josie Becca Butcher I love you and I'm gonna love you forever because your my fighter, my heart, and the reason I get up in the middle. Your my second wind when I meant you that day your dad and you ran into that elections shop."
"I'm surprised you haven't died yet due to this line of work."
"Oh please if I died you would March into hell and drag my ass out."
"Like you would to go hell my idiot."
"Right since the day we meant I've had faith you and I will always love you no matter what. You are prefect and I can't live a day without you. My hacker will you marry me?"
"Yes Hughie I will marry you but please can we just take things slow with this whole wedding thing."
"Whatever you want my love," I place a hand on his cheek. "I will always have your back."
"I know Athena. You know I wanted to propose at that bar we meant on 21st birthday but that was shut down for good reason," I giggle and we hear Hughies phone start to ring, he picks it up. "Hey butcher. I have Athena."
"Dad?" I ask taking the phone. "Hey kiddo I'm glad your ok."
"Me too dad I'm gonna stay with Hughie for a few days."
"Good idea will you put your lover boy back on the phone."
"God I hate that," I hand Hughie the phone back and I smile. I get up and walk out to the kitchen looking for a bottle, I pour myself a glass of whiskey, "god I am a butcher. I miss you mom." I slide down to the floor.
"Honey you ok?"
"Yeah I'm fine. I just need some rest."
"I know Athena come to bed."
"No I can't I have-" I watch Hughie walk over and he places his hands on my shoulders. "It's ok your safe Butcher is gonna tell Frenchie and Kimiko That's your ok." We hear a knock on the door, Hughie opens it and Kimiko rushes in she hugs me tight and I hug her back. "I missed you too sis."
