I smile and sit up, i grab my phone and i see Maeve calling. "Maeve you know I'm not technically a lawyer right?"
"Yeah I know and I know you got out but how?"
"I don't remember Maeve. Is Homelander?"
"No I'll take care of it you helped us take care of Stromfront your a good kid your not the scary vigilante Vought likes to make you out to be."
"Thank you Maeve and i guess I should hang up the suit."

"Starlight saw it and asked Hughie about it one day. Do you need anything?"
"Can you send me the camera footage of my cell? I wanna see who broke me out."
"Of course Athena." We hang up and I get out of bed. I look my arms and sigh i guess all that sedative was a bad thing. I hear a groan from the couch, "Kimiko wake up." I say then I pick up my phone, "Grace wait slow down I thought you got my charges dropping."
"Ok yes I did but I can't change the court of public opinion and Vought is still running that ad."
"I didn't kill those people at the hearing why are we still talking about this it's been a fucking year!" I scream over the phone as Kimiko gives me look. "Don't give that look Sis."
"Athena just be more cautious they know you escaped!"
"Yeah we'll it's kind of my thing at this point and I need to figure out why they had me Grace."
"Lay low and I would move. Athena?" I hear another voice on the call. "Ryan?"
"Hey Sis you ok?"
"Yeah I'm ok I'm sorry I haven't visited I miss you."
"I miss you too sis." I say over the phone then Kimiko grabs my arm and starts wrapping my wrist with bandages. I smile at her then I hug up the phone with Ryan. "Thank you Kimiko." She nods happily then looks at her phone, Frenchie is on his way she signs to me. "Prefect."

After catching up with Frenchie and Kimiko i went to my dads apartment, I open the door, "Athena!"
"Dad! Why are we yelling?" I ask as he hugs me. "I've got you." I hug him back. "Dad I'm ok I promise."
"I'm sorry I should've done better to protect you that day."
"It's ok it was my fault for running into the building alone."

"Attie Are you ok to come back to work. We-I need you." I nod and I sit down on the couch. I hear a bark coming from the kitchen, "dad did you kidnap another dog? I was only missing for three months." I say then Terror runs out of the kitchen, "Terror!" The dog jumps into my lap. "You brought him back?"
"I had to at least for today stay here with Terror Cheetos in the pantry I have to go. You ok here we can start with bringing you back into the swing of thing tomorrow."
"Yeah dad I'm ok." He leaves and I get up and grab a bag of potato chips. Then I sit on the couch with Terror, "don't give me that look. I'm fine," I look at the dog on my lap right now, "ok yeah maybe I'm not fine but i can't tell dad or Hughie they'll just try to baby me and I don't want that. Hughie and I spent 3 months apart and the first thing he does is ask to marry me which yeah I should be excited by but something feels wrong. Hughies nice and sweet and im a pile of crap who apparently can't stop fighting. What do I do I love him but I don't want him to get hurt because of me." Terror barks and I sigh I know what I have to do but I don't know if I can. I want to spend my life with Hughie but also can't be the reason he gets hurt or changes who he is. AT3 is the genetic daughter of Swatto (we keep some of his dna on file before he died) and one of are female scientists unlike John she didn't develop abilities right away. Vought decided to pump her with more compound v to see how much a baby could hold without dying we activated her powers. We found out that she has the potential to destroy Homelander.

Today April 10, 2003
AT3 escaped yesterday honestly that's for the best Vought would've killed her if they knew the truth. Happy birthday Athena.

"Shes fine i think she wasn't home. It's just after everything i Know i shouldnt be worried because I Know Athena. It's Just Vicky was my friend i meant her daughter. We would Go through That Office like We're the fucking untochables. Then Athena's Kidnapping and She's Safe and Home i just cant lose anyone Else. And i cant fucking do anything right!"
"Thats Not True and if Attie Wasn't being herself right now she would say that to."
"Annie i Know you have feelings for my fiancé."
"Does Athena know?" Annie ask looking at the floor of the car she didn't want to gain feelings for Athena but she couldn't help it Athena was beautiful and she understood Why Hughie was in love with her because if Annie was gonna be honest she was to.

"Vogelbaum," I whisper to myself and get up to go find my dad or break into Vogelbaums house. I bend down and look at Terror right in the eyes, "it's good to see you bubby I'm sorry we didn't save mom. I'll see you again I promise," I stand up and leave the apartment.

I get to the house in my car and I push the button on the gate, "hi my name is Athena Butcher I work with superhuman affairs I need to pick up some files Vogelbaum might have left for me," I say then the gate opens, I walk inside the house, "your Athena right?"
"Yeah you've probably seen the if you seen this woman be warned she's highly dangerous warning on your screens that started after the hearing I didn't kill him."
"I know. He wanted you to have these," the woman hands me a thumb driver and a letter. "He always preferred you to Homelander."

"Yeah I Know," i say sipping from Dr. Pepper.
"Wait you knew why didn't you tell me?"
"One I figured it out before I got kidnapped for three months it was 2 days before the incident. When I figured it out I called Grace unsure what would happen if I told anyone else I guess Neumann knew I was getting close to figuring out her identity so she sent me alone on mission which turned out to be a trap."

"You an idiot." I look up at Hughie and he's Face softens I could tell he was trying to hold back his anger towards his boss or are boss honestly it doesn't matter. He places a hand on my cheek, "I'm sorry."

"Yeah that sounds nice." We order two pie slices and we get in are separate cars to meet back home. "Oh Attie?"

"Hey Butcher," Hughie Says answering his phone. "Neumanns a supe shes the Head Popper. Here he wants to talk to you."

"Asshole are you dying?" I ask and Hughie chuckles wrapping his arms around me from behind. "Dad I'm putting you on speaker."

Hughie and i sat on the couch watching the Homelander bullshit because Annie is are friend, "Starlight Lied to you guys just now.
