"Im ready," hughie says and dad smiles. I nod, "I know I don't have the best reputation in the news Vought calls me a supervillain again and a terrorist. The compound v doesnt make anyone a hero or villain its the person character, and if you believe anything Annie or better know as Starlight as said she needs your help we need your help. "Your mom would be so proud of you," I hug dad and he pulls Hughie in. "You did good."
"Thanks guys." We break apart, "you should've told me."
"Dad?"
"We wanted to, I wanted to Butcher but youve been acting like a dick and we just kinda wanted to get it done with because of all we could die at any minute thing," hughie tells him and I smile as he grabs my hand. Dad gives us a little smirk like hes thinking of something.

I hear my phone ring, "Grace what's going on?"
"Its Ryan."
"What?"
"Homelander took Ryan. Athena?"
"Aunt Grace im not mad at you. I have umm i have to go I'll call you later," I hang up And walk back into the house. "Even you since you told him he would have to kill his own son hes locked Himself in the bathroom with a bottle of old granddad," I sit down next to Hughie and take the rag, and I look at the stuff on it. "Well Homelander ain't really his son and he knows it."

"Am I supposed to believe you?"
